Elegant and useful
This is a review for BIA Cordon Bleu Oil Bottle by BIA Cordon Bleu.Sure, it's efficient to have your oil within arms reach, but this bottle is also as beautiful as it is functional. If only all of our countertop gadgetry were so lovely. The weight is solid so when you put it down there's no question that it's going to stay vertical. The graduated body ensures a good grip for small hands to man paws. The opaque ceramic protects the oil from light. If you want to up your game, get a shot glass and count (in your head) the seconds for how long it takes to fill it with oil from the spout. Then do the same with with a tablespoon. Practice this a few times and very soon you'll have bartender skills with your olive oil and be able to accurately estimate those quantities.Other reviewers have mentioned a problem with the spout. I have not experienced this but if I did, I'd take the bottle in to my grocery/Target/etc. and purchase another spout. If this didn't work, I'd definitely return it because the vendor needs to know this is a problem. If you found this review helpful, please click the "yes" button below. Thanks and happy cooking!

So worth it.
I was on the fence as to whether I could justify what seemed like an extravagance. I thought, is it really that much effort to walk over to the pantry, get the plastic oil bottle, bring it over the stove, unscrew it, pour the oil, clean up the drips, and then put it back? It turned out that, yes, that is a stupid amount of effort for something I do all the time. This cruet has made cooking so much easier and more enjoyable. The increases efficiency is totally worth it.The bottle pours great, and looks nice. There have been no drips. I highly recommend.

Clean, Modern and Practical
I love clean modern designs and this oil bottle is perfect for me. I can leave it out on the counter so that's always a plus for me. It seems as though the lid wouldn't stay in place but it securely stays on whenever I use it.

Highly recommend, but you need to buy a plastic cap, or new spout that comes with a cap
So I'm picky and have had my eye on this oil bottle for years. I finally bought it, and am so glad I did!! This oil bottle truly is perfect in every single measure except for the fact that it didn't come with a plastic cap for the top to seal off the oil and prevent oxygen from spoiling the oil.The size is perfect, not too big and not too small. I swear the size was designed by pro cooks. The shape is fantabulous, it's got the modern flowy minimal lines that I wanted, but shockingly, the shape makes it easy to hold and pour with, I'm so pleased with that. The material is porcelain---very strong, better than plain ceramic, stoneware, or earthenware. Oh and let's not forget that ceramic is least reactive with the oil. Glass is not reactive either, BUT, light passes through glass and therefore spoils the oil. Metal is reactive with oil, too. Ceramic is the best and of those ceramics, no other is as good as porcelain--you will appreciate this in a piece meant for a lot of use, especially around the clangy-bangy things of stovetops. The white color is clean and fresh, nice for a kitchen.Underneath it's "finished!" I.e., the bottom is glazed, except for a ring around the perimeter, but the rest has the smooth glaze.I was using another porcelain oil bottle with a design on it that I didn't really like anymore, and I used the spout from that one to replace the one from the bottle I ordered because not only did it have the cap which is necessary to protect the oil from going bad, but the silicone from the spout in my old bottle is clear (including the cap), and I found that looked better than the black silicone in the spout of the bottle I ordered. So for the people who are thinking about replacing the spout or getting a cap, I recommend doing that with the clear silicone (if you can find it) instead of black. Also, the clear cap from my old bottle was too big for the spout from the new one, so that's one more reason why I recommend getting a new spout with cap, instead of just the cap (which may or may not fit the spout that came with the oil bottle very well). Detail, details. Important in the long run and this wonderful oil bottle deserves the proper spout with cap. That said, this oil bottle really should have came with its own cap---I still highly recommend this oil bottle, though, I absolutely LOVE mine and I highly recommend that people get this!!!!

Nice modern styling and a good size for my home kitchen.
Sleek mid-century styling. I like that the pouring spout has a swing away cap to keep dust out. The little funnel is appreciated when filling the bottle. I use this for my 1st press extra-virgin olive oil and don't need to refill this often at all. I have a larger oil carafe for my light olive oil as I use greater volumes of that. The shipper packed well and shipped on time. I would buy from them again.

It's a winner!
This is just as pictured and just what I wanted to store my mouthwash on the counter of our newly remodeled bath. The bottle's simplicity is very classy. It fits comfortably in my hand and isn't slippery. I did order different stoppers with little lids to keep any tiny bugs out, but the original lid fit great and worked fine. Just be sure to turn the bottle in the direction of the little curve of the spout or it will leak where the rubber stopper fits into the bottle. Turn it the right way and no leaks! I'm happy that I picked this cruet over all the others I looked at.

Stopper Does Not Fit
Stopper/pour spout does not fit in top bottle opening - it's too small for the opening and falls out if you try to tip the bottle over, making the product essentially useless.

May fit your needs
I bought this to decant OO rather than from a huge jug. The problem is it is hard to clean and has nothing to seal out debris. No cork or metal piece to cover the opening where the oil comes out. I wound up returning it. The quality wasn't that great either.
