Carolina Custom Cages Reptile Habitat Background; Double Arch with Tree, for 36Lx18Wx18H Terrarium, 3-Sided Wraparound

Carolina Custom Cages Reptile Habitat Background for 36Lx18Wx18H terrarium is an attractive background. I used it for my 40 gallon Zoo Med ReptiHabitat terrarium which measures 36x18x18 but only needs a 35 1/2x17x17 1/2 background to wrap around the glass part. I would've given this background 5 stars but, it was expensive considering it was shorter than expected. Even though I needed something 1/2" shorter than the product description, it still ended about 1/2" short. I should've ordered the 48Lx18Wx18H background (although, this is even more expensive) to get it to wrap completely. Of course, I will have to trim it but, it should fully wrap around the terrarium. It makes me wonder if the terrarium sold by the same manufacturer is also shorter than the product description.Update:My bearded dragon can still see his reflection on the glass well when I placed this background around the outside of the glass of the terrarium. I decided to move it inside instead, considering this background should be moisture-resistant (bound to find out). Placing the background inside makes it about the right size for the terrarium (outside it's short) or a tad longer depending on how you tape it on the glass.

This is the absolute *best* product we have found for reptile backgrounds! We tried store bought ones, we’ve tried printing our own, and they always rip, get wet (even the store bought ones that appear shiny are not waterproof), or fade quickly near UVB light.This product is sturdy, waterproof and has not faded yet (as of this review, we’re still on the first roll of the two-pack we bought in July). I won’t use anything else in the future!

This is the first time I've been unhappy with a purchase of any type from any vendor on Amazon. When I opened the box, the smell of someone's lunch (onions) filled the air! Then I attempted to wrap it around my 40 gallon reptile habitat and to my dismay, it was too short! Actually, it's 1" short and that's counting the white description band on one end of the wrap which I would have to cut off, making it even smaller! I don't know what to do since this is the first time having to complain (and return) a purchase from Amazon but I certainly am very unhappy with this item, especially considering the cost! If all was well, I would have given it 5 stars since it is very nice... : (

Excellent product! We ordered a tank wrap for our 20 gallon tank the first time through the same supplier and it was beautiful. Whenever we upgraded to the 50, I had forgotten where I had purchased my wrap and ordered off a random company. It was not near the quality and for more expensive! We were so thrilled when this wrap came in and fit our tank perfectly and had of great quality.

Loved this background. My beardie was scratching at his glass all the time. Now it has de stressed him and he is much more chill. Fit perfectly around my 40 gal breeder.

To short by an inch for a 40 gal breeder looks good except the 1 inch

It was a little short for my 40 gal tank.
