I love my egg skelter!
I love this skelter. Reviewers have complained about eggs turning sideways or getting stuck when rolling down the track. This happens as a result of the few cross braces necessary along the track. Some of the eggs catch a little bit there. If you place a finger of your free hand against and in front of the egg next to the one your removing and slow down the speed at which they roll forward, you can usually prevent this fom happening. Even so, I still love mine and would gladly buy again. I no longer have to worry about which eggs are oldest and the red color is very decorative on my counter.

This product looks great, fit on a shelf of my refrigerator
This product looks great, fit on a shelf of my refrigerator, and we use it because it is cute. The down side is that the eggs don't actually roll down so we have to move them ourselves which isn't exactly what I was hoping for when I purchased this product.

This is pretty cool. I got the wrong size I think because my eggs dont fit right. I should have gotten the smaller one but I do like the concept of this and that frees up my counter and lets me have them in order as they came from my little chicken.

Medium to small eggs do not work or roll down without getting caught you will need to use AA or AAA size chicken eggs. I had looked at this piece for two years before finally buying and I really wish it would work for medium eggs because it is a great piece

Very cute idea, but not really that functional
I bought the egg skelter, or as my husband calls it the egg roller coaster, with the intention of an easy way to use the oldest eggs first and keep the eggs rotated. Well, it does do that, however not without some difficulty. If you take one egg from the bottom, the idea is that all of the eggs will simply follow suite and move to the bottom. However, this doesn't happen very often, and your left moving the eggs yourself. Easy enough to do, yet I've already broken 3 eggs doing just that. The shift forces some to just pop out of the run, and fall on the counter. For the $50 I paid, I should have stuck with my original bowl on the counter. Perhaps they will improve the functionality of the skelter, because it has really gained some attention from friends and family.

Love the red skelter
I love the skelter for my fresh eggs. I looks so good on the counter. Works well also. Not all my fresh eggs are mediums and larges, so I wish I had purchased the smaller one. My small eggs turn sideways and then the rolling action stops. I get lots of compliments on it. I have red accents in my kitchen; red skelter is awesome.

FUN TO LOOK AT
Fun to look at but not very functional. Best suited for medium size eggs. My hens lay LARGE eggs.

Great product for displaying and keeping eggs in order of lay. Just be careful when using to help eggs along the path.
