I'm not hot or cold for this item,but I did buy it because it services hot and cold drinks.The Esio beverage is just okay.The cold water temp should have been set a little colder so that there be no need for ice I your drink.But if you have the space and want a hot andcold water dispenser this is for you.As far as the drink goes you only get a package of County Time Lemonade which did seem asgood as get in the pizza shop,it has a strange after this and the coffee package that could with I can tell you how it taste I do not drinkcoffee.It is a good buy to make drink foe when don't anything to drink in the fridge or when that picture of drink that you made is notchilling.So the bottom line it just 50/50

Yes, even though I was aware that the Esio company had gone into bankruptcy, I could not resist purchasing one of these machines at the remarkable discount prices being offered. My first impression... this thing is big. It fits on a standard counter top leaving no space to the front or back and little space under overhanging cabinents. My second impression... this thing is heavy. Shipping costs would have been prohibitive had it not been for Amazon Prime or Free Shipping offers. My third impression... this thing is beautifully built and designed. It works perfectly as described. After about an hour warm/cold up time, I was able to draw an ice-cold lemonade at the touch of a button and then, with a quick change of pac and touching two buttons, a hot cup of coffee. While I don't want to run it constantly as it does use a bit of electricity to heat and cool the reservoirs, I will certainly put it to good use at parties.

Its does a lot better for cold drinks than hot. Especially for coffee they come out very week. Otherwise not bad

We really love the machine. We use the cold part a lot for our drinks. The coffee hot part is not as hot as coffee. The drink pouches are expensive and really in a family like mine we wish they lasted longer. I have a found a work around solution. However I really enjoy having it around.

Could not get the epack l wants to get rid of it

My husband and I received an Esio as a gift from my folkas a few months ago. I was excited when I saw that it is able to do both hot AND cold beverages instantly. The picture on the box shows a steaming cup of coffee next to a frosty glass of lemonade, which is also the reason that my dad picked it out for us. Unfortunately, my excitement turned into disappointment as soon as I set the thing up. While it's true that it can instantly dispense either hot or cold liquid at the touch of a button, in order to switch between hot and cold beverages (for example, between the lemonade and coffee beverages that are included with the machine), you must open up the device and switch the beverage pack each time. The convenience of going between hot and cold beverages is almost completely cancelled out by that hassle. I don't know anyone who likes to drink piping hot lemonade, and if you're going to change the cartridge every time, you might as well just keep a pitcher of lemonade in the fridge and save the electricity of keeping all that water cold anyway. I suppose that it would be convenient for a large family with members who like both hot tea and iced tea, or both regular coffee and iced coffee, but the "cold" option is overkill for my husband and I.After using up the initial beverage packs that were included with the machine, I have been as of yet unable to locate refill packs at any store. According to the Esio website, they are available at Walmart, but I've visited at least four Walmarts and have been unable to find them. They are reasonably priced on the Esio website, but I am unable to actually purchase them. It shows them in my cart, but there is no "check-out" button for me to actually enter my credit card info to order them (which is why I ended up on Amazon today to see if I could find them here).The machine is also very large and very loud. It's actually louder than my refrigerator. It seems like it is constantly on and it vibrates half of my kitchen. I don't even want to imagine how much electricity it's probably using to keep such a small amount of water cold.The only reason I give it three stars is because we have been using it for hot water to make instant coffee in the mornings and the instant hot water is slightly more convenient than heating it on the stove or in the microwave.I would not recommend an Esio. It's a good idea, but without being able to use two different beverage packs at the same time, it's kind of a joke. Get a Keurig instead.

Okay so all the other reviews seem very old so guess it’s a long shot but I came across one of these at my local goodwill really cheap seemed like a great deal not knowing what to expect with buying this wasn’t aware of how hard it would be to buy refills does anyone on here still use there esio ?
