Mcdavid Elastic Elbow Support

After six weeks of pain and discomfort in my arm following a fall, I finally got around to visiting my GP. She diagnosed "tennis elbow" I ordered this on the Saturday and it arrived on the Monday. I wore it Monday evening, for the first time since my fall I managed to sit down and relax without all the ouches and so both myself and my wife were happy!! Seriously though, I do not know how it works but it has relieved me of a great deal of discomfort. I ordered an extra large as my elbow measured 31cm and it seems the right size for me. Not too tight but seems to hold firm. The instructions on the inside packet has the following table.S = 20-24cm elbowM = 24-26cm elbowL = 26-30cm elbowXL = 30-35cm elbow

This is my favorite purchase in years! I'm not extremely knowledgable in this area, but I have tried various solutions and always been unhappy with them for one reason or another. The big reason, which this product deftly steps around, has always been bulkiness. Most supports are these comparatively complex contraptions with 5 velcro straps and strings to tie down, which ends up in a near useless elbow. I could never bend my arms and basically had to spend hours just sitting around with my arms stretched, looking like an utter fool. Not so with this product! It offers the right amount of support, meaning my aches are almost completely gone, but it's incredibly easy to put on and take off, and above all, does not encumber your movements! I feel like I have my full range, maybe slightly less, when I'm wearing these supports, and as such I can wear them all day without any issues.The only real complaint here is that the material does not breathe, and as such becomes warm fairly quickly. It can cause a slight discomfort and might make you want to take the supports off now and then, instead of just trucking on with whatever you're doing. Just something to keep in mind if you live in a warm climate.

Firm support for the elbow. It's not one you wear and forget you have on, so unless you need permanent support you will want to take it off for a while to give your arm a "rest" . I find I can't full bend the elbow when I am wearing it. However, this combined with the wrist splint I bought at the same time very quickly settled a painful tendinitis problem. I now just wear one or both from time to time.Made of good strong stretchy fabric which certainly gives the impression that this support will last.

Really pleased with this. It's actually comfortable unlike some of the other supports I have tried. It's quite a thick material but breathes quite well. Looks like it will last a while. I use it for arthritic pain in my elbow and it works well with just the right amount of compression. Being black it holds heat from the sun (when it's out!) which is a bonus and warms my elbow nicely. I will def buy another when the time comes.

After having two babies, i started doing pilates and yoga as running and zumba were out of the question! Gone days:( However yoga and pilates brought on elbow pain from all those floor moves.....Basically my joints have become jelly like now sadly so. This has provided me with a lot of support, I don't get too much pain with these on, they are nice and firm. This doesn't slip or curl, it's amazing! This along with rosehip sups and a magnetic bracelet have ALMSOt done the trick!

I am glad i purchased this. I had more expensive elbow supports purchased from the chemist but this proved to be the best. It is easy to put on, it does keep your elbow joint stable & warm, and it allows enough movement to keep you performing. Also, i am not sure if it is designed to be machine washable or tumble dry resistance but i accidentally put it a few times and it hasn't changed at all.

I personally suffer from poor join and tendon strength so I have to be extra vigilant when I workout. Recently I've had a bit of strain in my elbow and was using elbow wraps, although the wraps were more supportive they could be a bit of a pain to put on. I can pop the elbow supports on as and when i need and they work really well.The sizing guide specified in other reviews seems pretty spot on, The larges fit me well but bear in mind that if say you have 25cm elbows but 20inch arms, they probably wont fit.

OK! I like this arm sleeve. Before I got the copper elbow compression sleeve and I like many others, the copper sleeve got more and more loose. Even after washing and drying, it would stay tight for a day, then gets loose again. SO I got this Mcdavid sleeve. Already it’s softer and more comfortable/tight in a good way. The compression is there and I k is it’s not going to get loose like the copper sleeve. McDavid all the way. Get this one over the copper sleeve! I’m telling you

Lo compré debido a que tengo una lesión en el codo desde hace 1 mes aproximadamente, no podía hacer ejercicio de tricep en el gimnasio debido a ésta. La manga sin lugar a dudas ayuda, se siente más protegido el codo.

bonne coudière, un peu serré mais tient longtemps dans le temps, j'ai eu 2 tendinites en l'espace de6 mois et la coudière a vraiment bien fait le job! elle ne se deforme pas! attention si gros bras, là çà peut coincer...
