Quality for a very reasonably priced tire!
Light weight, thin walled (not like a typical gumwalled tire!), and a nice bead down the center of them for added aerodynamics. I have not ridden on these yet. From looking at the other reviews however, I have no doubt that it will exceed expectations. I was able to install Mr. Tuffy liners additionally. Since these tires were a little bit smaller in width I was concerned that there wouldn't be enough room for the liner. I was relieved that the innertube and liner fitted perfectly when installing the tire.Had a little difficulty installing the first tire. Needed to use tire irons. The second tire I was able to put on with my bare hands entirely. After a ride or two I rubbed my hand across the tread and it is nice and grippy. Glad to know I am safe when riding through tight corners!Update: I rode my bike yesterday across town and felt that the ride was a bit stiff and a subtle bumpiness to my rear wheel. I continued to ride to my destination, thinking that I possibly will need a new rim in the future. After my meeting, I rode home. Today I noticed that the tire was flat. Not the tire's fault though. I found out that my innertube's valve was leaking air. Amazing! I rode for at least 20 miles yesterday on a flat rear tire and my rim looks A ok. The tire is difficult to put on the rim, but holds very well to the rim when flat LOL!!!Summation: the tires have exceeded my expectations!

Fantastic tires for little money.
I just recently finished restoring a '78 Schwinn Traveler 3 and these tires were the last piece to the puzzle. The new tires were a bit difficult to install but that was just due to me not having a proper tire leaver. I eventually got the tires on by using the handle of a spoon. Since the restoration I have put a few hundred miles on the tires and so far I am very pleased with them. On smooth flat roads there is minimal road noise and the grip is exceptional considering the price. However considering that these tires are very narrow I would not recommend taking sharp corners at any speeds above normal. I tried to make a quick 90 degree turn on a dusty sidewalk and I lost grip in the front wheel which almost caused me to crash. Other than that these tires are great. If you avoid riding on any sort of surface besides asphalt these tires are exceptional. Since day one I have use Slime tire sealant so I don't know how puncture resistant the tires are without the sealant. I would defiantly recommend these tires to anyone that has an older bike that still uses the old school 27inch diameter rim.

Cheng Shin or Another Quality Tire???
I bought these tires for my sister's Vintage Schwinn Varsity for strictly road riding. I didn't want to pay a lot of money for them but, wanted quality. She's had them for 2yrs. now and the tires show hardly any wear. If I was to make a comparison I would say that the Cheng Shins are like and ride as perfect as a good pair of track racing tires. They could actually be well worth riding on tracks because they are very narrow and stick to the track well. If you are looking for a track racing tire that is narrow and sticks well, try these out first. They also come in colors on biketiresdirect.com. Well worth the money!!!

odd feel on road
Just bought a set of these from this seller (Niagra) and they shipped fast and the tires are brand new and visually flawless....however, this model (C732) is Cheng Shin's bottom of the line tire and they are, indeed, poorly designed and/or manufactured. They have a highly raised center ridge and inconsistent shape which gives a subtlety strange and annoying ride ("floppy" is the only way I can describe it).At about 453 grams each (1 pound), they're also relatively heavy. Much of that weight is in the sidewalls, which is unnecessary.I owned Cheng Shin "Super HP" tires before this, which have a wide "slick" tread in the center and they did not have any problems (plus, they weigh about 30g less, each)...shoulda spent the extra $ and bought another set of those.UPDATE: Bought a set of Vittoria "Zaffiro" for only $5 more than the C732 and they work perfectly...plus, they weigh 63g less.

Good tires
A good price for these tires. I just rebuilt my 1984 Sekai road bike and replaced the original tires with these. They seem well made and I noticed no flaws. After mounting I inflated them to 70psi and went for a ride and they ride quite nice. They ride nice when going straight and they corner well also. I'm no hard core road racer but ride on the weekends and will put on a hundred or so miles per month and based on my initial rides I will be quite happy with these tires. Recommended.

Continental next time
These are VERY hard to get on rims. ( Had to use veg oil on one ! ) I have used 3 tires on 3 different rims on 2 different bikes. The one on my Fuji goes bump-Bump every time the valve comes around when I'm riding. C C C ( Cheep China Crap ).. Never again !

Good and bad
I bought 3 of these. One to use right away and 2 for backup. The one I put on when I received them worked great for about 1000 miles. It ended up with a chunk gouged out of it but I'm not sure if that was due to the tire or a road hazard. I just tried putting the other two on and one was good but the other had a defect in it. It has a spot where it bulges even at 50 lbs of pressure. If I had tested them when I received them, I could've gotten a replacement but I waited too long. Looks like I wasted ten bucks. I'm up in the air on whether or not to purchase again. I might try something different to compare. I've had Bontragers in the past and they've held up well but seem to lose traction faster.

So Far So Good...
Have ordered used and worn out about 4 pair of these tires - Have been totally satisfied with the price, quality, and wear time of all pairs - At 240# I am pushing it on a 1 1/8 tire on rural roads - They wear faster during summer Texas 100+ degree heat - Especially my rear tire but I can count on at least a thousand miles of riding before the center ridge gets worn even - I then replace them and give the old pair away - I know eventually I will probably get a set with defects and what not but so far so good...
