Its not exactly what I wanted, but a beautiful demandoing in style book.

Bought for friend getting into mushroom hunting, and he absolutely loves the book. He said he recently went on his first mushroom hunt and the book was really helpful. Seems to be great for someone who is just getting into the hobby. Would definitely recommend

This book is certainly not all inclusive but it does have some GREAT recipes and the pictures are useful. I would recommend buying this book. I didn’t give it five stars simply because it’s not complete, but I seriously doubt there’s a book anywhere that is.

Not enough descriptions of different mushrooms.Not informative about edible/poisonous similarities and how to not make a mistake.Some good recipes.

Very pleased with what I've seen so far in this book. Excellent illustrations and descriptions. Looking forward to learning more about which mushrooms growing in my area are safe to cook with.

This book is wonderful! It's full of great photos, including full color, as well as a real mushroom cut in half. Very helpful with listing each mushroom and identifying whether good or bad. Full of lots of very good information, and even includes recipes(for those bravehearted who went gathering to eat). I'd say this book is very imformative in lots of ways, very well illustrated and really, I believe, the best book I could have obtained possibly. Very pleased with the book!

This book(The Ultimate Mushroom Book) gives us pictures and information that was very helpful in our mushroom hunting for the good and tasty ones. Also it describes in detail the poisonous one to stay away from.

Really great photos to use for identification.Good recipes, too.
