The ad for this puzzle describes it as being "wooden" ... and i said: yah, sure ... compressed fiberboard. I was wrong and that was a pleasant surprise. This puzzle is actually made from a thin sheet of wood. The pieces fit together so snugly that they "snap" into place. Once assembled, I was actually able to roll up the puzzle without taking it apart, without using backer sheets, or even rolling it in fabric. That is how snug the pieces fit. The quality of the picture was also very good. Okay ... for the purists out there, the sunflowers are facing the wrong way, but the picture is still beautiful. If you flip the pieces over, there are letters that correspond to sections of the puzzle ... but you don't have to use them ... and the puzzle is much more fun to put together without them. It is not an incredibly difficult puzzle to put together, but it is very enjoyable. I would recommend this puzzle to anyone.

I like that the puzzle comes with a picture that is the same size as the puzzle so you can do it right on top of the puzzle. It also has a kind of “cheap sheet” on the back of the puzzle pieces (I used it to confirm that pieces when together). It’s super sturdy wood rather than cardboard

I got this and put it together for a birthday gift for a friend and it's a beauty! The pieces are very nice quality, fit together wonderfully, and came in a little beautiful baggie. The puzzle also came with an exact size poster of the puzzle as well, and little wooden separaters which helped a million and I will be saving for future puzzles! The puzzle is glued and placed in a 20" x 30" frame from Michaels crafts.

I have never worked a puzzle like this one. It has lettering on the back to assist in which portion of the puzzle you are working in. The pieces are thicker than a normal puzzle and you almost have to "click" them in place. The pieces went together well and I ended up framing this one. The finished puzzle fit in a 20x30 frame.

great puzzle but missing a piece and one piece was broken

I loved this puzzle. It is very challenging, at least for me, because of the sky's different hues. The sunflowers are beautiful. I don't use the letters or the separate squares placement. I appreciate the drawstring bag that comes in the box. It will be nice to store them in the bag and box after I've completed the puzzle and put it away.

Beautiful sunflower puzzle. Took me a few days to put it together. Very happy with how it turned out.

We do lots of 1000 piece puzzles. This one, still working on, is a real challenge.
