Q: What is the basic difference between the S1 and S2? I see the speed ranges are different but that doesn't seem to account for the price difference.

I actually have the S1 and the S2, they are basically the same pump, except the S1 is rechargeable, (and blue) while the S2 MUST be plugged in to work, it does not have a battery of any sort (and it's pink). I LOVE both pumps! but the S1 is definitely worth the extra $$ for the freedom from the plug! I find I can get about 3 1/2- to 4 full pumping sessions out of my S1 before recharging!

Q: I ordered the S1 and the charger does not work. Is there something i need to do or how can i get a new charger? i’ve never used it until today.

My charger is also broken, then I bought a new replacement on Amazon, asin: B07GQH9QB3, which has a longer cord and comes with an indicator light.

Q: Does this work with the Kiinde Twist system?

Q: Can you pump into bags with this pump or just bottles? Do Medela bottles work with it? Can you use any shields or just Spectra Brand?

The Maymom adapters allow you to pump into the Lansinoh bags. Found that having a tall glass cup helps as a temporary resting place for setting the partly filled Lansinoh bag if I need to, when switching between breasts or pausing. Other bags, besides Lansinoh, don't seem to work as well due to their shape. Ameda bags flat out don't work with the Maymom adapters, for example. Found that using Dr. Brown 8oz bottles with the storage caps work well for pumping into and mixing, to ensure appropriate foremilk and hindmilk amounts. Bags are great for freezer, but if I'm just pumping and storing from work to home, the large Dr. Brown bottles work well. Plus, the little one is getting to larger bottles now anyhow.
