Violin, Ultimate Library on DVD – 85 Books, Violins, How to Make, Repair, Restoration, Repair, Instrument DVD-ROM – January 1, 2012

I love that there is so much info on a single DVD. So much history there.

I volunteer teach violin in a inner city program. This is great book. How to play the violin hasn't changed much really. I also am the in house repairman. Plus we have well intending parents who guy their kid some $100 Craigslist fiddle that is unplayable, so all the old repair books were further info for me. This is likely the best bang for the buck I've seen in ages. ...and I am aged!

I gave it only 4 starts not because the books were not as described by the seller. But I guess that is the way they use to print books, i.e. without diagrams. Having said that, I believe it is still a very good collection of old books and I'm sure with good information. If you know the names of all the parts that make up the violin... I am a novice!This review is not written to castigate the seller in anyway!

Haven't read them all but looking to this mountain of knowledge. Thanks.
