This is a great product - we have now bought 2 sets ... One for the wall and one to use during play. We have used them consistently with our 2 year old and he now copies and recognises sounds from the first set of cards. The size and quality of the cards are lovely and have survived the occasional chewing :-)

Best course I have come across so far. However, I think first that the letters should be taught in Alphabetical Order; and second that the sounds should be grouped not according to their phonetic sound, but according to the pattern of letters that spell them.After all, we are trying to teach 'reading' here, not language acquired by the so-called LAD (Language Acquisition Device) promulgated by Noam Chomsky.
