I have several 3.0 usb ports on the back of my tower pc, but these make it super easy to plug devices in without having to reach around the PC. These are also great for my laptop that only has 1 3.0 usb port.

I bought this because of the cable/USB attachment length, which is a bit over 11 inches. Most splitters have short cables. The longer cable keeps the splitter out of my way. I use it to attach a mouse and printer. The USB attaches snuggly to my computer. No problems with it. Get one if you need a longer cable splitter. I would like for it to work. Does not power up at all.

I switch broke down after first click on it. Not is permanently ON. Cannot be switched off. Did not expect that after first use.

Windows did not recognize my flash drive when it was plugged into this hub, but it did recognize it when it was plugged directly into the computer tower.
