Where do I start!? I'm a professional artist and was in dire need of upgrading my previous easel. My previous one only had one support and was on it's last limbs, and was not giving me all the angles and versatility that I needed. I didn't know what I was missing out on until I got this easel!This one was the perfect upgrade! This easel allows me to tackle the painting at different angles, including completely flat for those weird angles I have to get into and also completely straight up when I need to photograph and I want to avoid glare. The flat adjustment is perfect for doing the final varnishing as well. Also love the fact that it rolls around so adjusting positions around my studio is a breeze. It's a good size too so it can accommodate for my larger paintings. The ledge is an awesome upgrade as well. Great for holding my mediums and paintbrushes .It has a very sturdy design and the easel is pretty heavy but once the rollers are on, moving it around is easy. Putting it together took a few hours, but was easy to follow the directions and was straightforward. Tools were provided so it added convenience and all the hardware and parts are alphabetically labeled which helped greatly.Finally the easel is beautiful!! I frequently take pictures of my artwork posed in easels as "work in progress" shots on my Instagram and Facebook pages so I think this gorgeous easel will make a great addition to the pictures. I've already got compliments just from putting it in my Instagram story! It photographs like a very expensive easel in a luxurious art studio.All in all, I highly recommend! Very much worth the price if you are looking for a versatile sturdy easel for painting that looks nice in your studio too. I look forward to painting everyday now that I have this easel in my home. It's made my life easier, love it!!

When I went shopping for an Easel I wanted something to hold larger canvases. I was leaning toward a double mast that I saw here on Amazon which looked really great, but without exception, the many reviews I read said that the assembly was a nightmare. I got the impression that I would need a good microscope to see the instructions themselves, and a degree in engineering to understand them. My second choice was this easel, a single mast but able to accommodate up to a 90" canvas, which was bigger by a few inches than the double mast could hold, and the reviews indicated that assembly was not difficult. Having now assembled this easel myself I can concur; though there were a few minor challenges, this is not a difficult or complicated task. This is a big easel with quite a few parts so it took a little while but from opening the box to completion was accomplished in under an hour! The easel comes with a couple of cards, one of which will direct you to a walk-through video of the assembly. I did refer to this video exactly twice to be sure of the correct placement of a couple of parts, but mostly I just used the enclosed 'illustrations - only' instructions and my common sense. Pretty straight forward. I was very impressed that my disassembled easel arrived with all the necessary tools for assembly INCLUDED! No need to scavenge for both a Phillips and a standard screwdriver, not to mention (yes, I just have) a hex wrench, which would have been frustrating given that I have recently moved and have no idea where my tools are yet. I really enjoyed the process and felt such a sense of accomplishment when I completed the task, and I am so impressed with this easel. It is very well designed and has a huge range to adjust the height and position of whatever I am working on and it holds my canvas securely at any angle. Aside from these essential qualities, it is a beautiful piece of equipment which inspires me every time I look at it. I highly recommend this easel. Don't be intimidated by the assembly. It's straight forward and makes sense, and you can check out the video if you aren't positive about something.

After much online research, I selected this easel, hoping that it would be : 1. strong 2. versatile 3. easily moved 4. relatively easy to assemble (instructions adequate and all parts supplied as listed). All my criteria were more than fulfilled!!! couldn't be more pleased. The only instructions that were lacking were the lack of identification of two flat metal plates.... look at the assembly diagrams and you'll see two areas where a flat object is placed.... this where the metal plates go! (serve as plates for the locking screws to press against).Highly recommend this easel if you are looking for something substantial, versatile (in movement and able to handle large and small frames), and is on wheels.

The easel is amazing! The price is perfect. I was amazed at the high quality of the easel and at such affordable price. Super fast shipping, It was so easy to put together, and it even came with two screwdrivers so that you have all the tools you need. I can't say enough about this easel. I LOVE it! I've been a professional artist for over 20 yrs, and this is a fantastic asset in my art studio.

I was a little concerned when I saw that some people had an issue with putting this easel together. So, I hired a handyman to do it. He had it done in under one hour! It's beautiful, sturdy and versatile. It's almost a shame to get paint on it! Enjoy!!!

Damages everywhere. The box arrived looking fine. There was a large crack in the main structure. Somehow material was wedged into one of the pieces and was impossible to get out. Looks like it could have been a decent piece if quality control and packing were in order. Very disappointing.

This is a beautifully constructed easel made of beautiful solid wood. Assembly took a couple hours and was fairly easy to do. The instructions could be a bit bigger so one can see how where the washers and other bits are aligned. It is exactly what i was looking for, an easel that can hold a large canvas securely.

Wish they wuld packaged better came broken top canvas holding piece and was a gift pretty messed up. Seems pretty common problem.
