ABCs of D&D (Dungeons & Dragons Children's Book)

What better time to introduce the magic of role playing and Dungeons & Dragons than during early child development? And what an awesome way to learn and share that magic between a geek mom or dad and their adventurer-in-training?The ABC's of D&D is a brilliantly crafted book, filled with bright and colorful pages of the things we all love about the world's greatest roleplaying game. Adventure, Books, Creatures, and on and on! This book is an entertaining way for parents to teach their children colors, letters, shapes, and the characteristics of heroes and fair play.It was so good, that I contributed to the Kickstarter for my copy of "The ABC's of RPG's," and then bought a copy of "The ABC's of D&D" as soon as it was published as well!Extra Note: The differences between the two books are subtle but significant. It was definitely worth be purchasing both copies. They keep the books fresh for my toddler between readings. There's something different about each of them that keeps them further interested. We even read both books side-by-side to tell the differences between each letter's page.

This book has a whimsical take on the alphabet, perfect for any family ready for adventure and story creation. If you’re a D&D fan then this is the perfect little book for you.

Very cute, was a gift and they loved it. Would absolutely buy again for other future TTRPG-ers.

Bought this for my young nephew, indoctrin—teaching him about the wonders of dungeons and dragons. I bought this alongside the 123's of D&D. He enjoyed both books, having me read them during bedtime. I can only hope his dreams were filled with slaying magical beasts surrounded by a well balanced team of friends.This book is a great 1.0 introduction to surface level D&D lore for a child...or their parent if they're new to the hobby, and a great tool for planting the seeds of a future party member. I recommend!

The media could not be loaded. Such a cute book even for those without D&D knowledge. In case any potential buyers are curious, the only letters with references to D&D specific things are D (Dungeon Master), O (Owlbear), R (Ravenloft), U (Underdark), and X (XP - which of course is used in other games as well). There are also illustrations of various D&D/fantasy creatures throughout. Overall, a great buy. I know these authors also have a numbers version of this book as well which I hope to pick up soon.

Many hours of repeat storytelling with this well done children's book. The best part is when they are able to read it to you! Happens faster than you think. Great illustrations and content for a Dungeons & Dragons playing parent. Your kids ( boys and girls) will love it.
