Deer & rodent repellent that works and smells good!!!
Messina's Liquid Animal Stopper Repellents are great products. They are safe for the environment AND they work and smell good! A winning combination for any gardener--or person who appreciates their landscapes! I highly recommend this product.

Excellent!!
I live in a HEAVILY deer populated area. I’m originally from a place where you barely see deer. Here, I see them more than squirrels. This deer repellant is amazing. I can see a lot of deer tracks all around my flower beds but with this spray, they don’t eat my stuff. I forgot to put it on some geraniums right after I planted them and deer snacked on them. I sprayed it right after that and I haven’t had a problem since. I have two decently sized flower beds packed full and nothing gets eaten. The scent is not offensive to me at all.

Working for us if I use it once a week
I've tried virtually every deer repellent on the market. Bobbex works about the best of the ones we tried previously, but the smell is awful. This one, Deer Stopper is working about as well as the Bobbex and the smell is almost pleasant (spicy-smelling), so I don't dread spraying. Here in New York, where we get quite a bit of rain and have a sprinkler system, if I go longer than seven days to re-apply the Deer Stopper, it's a crapshoot, but as long as I get out there once a week, it's been successfully keeping the deer at bay. (I did lose some impatiens flowers that I hadn't been spraying. Apparently, when the rest of the flowers weren't so appealing, the deer decided that they actually DO like impatiens. However, once I started spraying them, too, the damage has stopped. And my big-leaf hostas - usually their first victims - have all been fine once I switched to Deer Stopper. It comes premixed, and I need almost an entire small sprayer for my many flower gardens, so last time I ordered the giant 2-gallon container. At nearly $50, that sounds expensive, but it's giving me many weeks of refills for the smaller sprayers. The small spray bottles are lightweight, super-convenient to use, and work much better than old 1- and 2-gallon pump sprayers, both of which clog quite often and don't send out an even spray consistently.I understand that any deer repellent can lose its effectiveness after a few months of the deer getting use to it, but we're okay for now, and my fingers are crossed that doesn't happen, since I'm a big fan of this one. (Now if only someone would figure out how to humanely cut down on or eliminate our backyard deer problem, especially with Lyme and the other diseases they carry! Repeated doses of doxycycline are not a great solution.)

This stuff works.
The deers are terrible in our neighborhood. We’ve tried all types of plants and sprays with no luck. Stumbled onto this stuff and it’s been very effective so far. Sometimes liquids in transit can be tricky…first order must have leaked and never made it to me. As expected, Amazon made it easy and the second order arrived with no problem.

Get ready ro be frustrated.
On the second attempt to apply this product the nozzle clogged and would not work. While attempting to salvage the product and use other sprayers I had it1. Clogged my pump sprayer2. Clogged or broke 4 other sprayers I borrowed from other devices…Beyond frustrating.. Sadly I can’t speak if this even deterred the deer or not because I could only apply it once. Customer service has yet to respond to me…

Only way I can have flowers!
I live in the country. This is the only way I can have any flowers that survive the deer. You just need to make sure you keep up with it. It does smell but its works.

Clogs spray nozzle
This works really well for deterring deer, and does not smell bad. I recently used up the bottle I had from last summer (spray nozzle got the last drop out!) I ordered another one at the beginning of this month. After shaking it up, there still are small clumps, that have clogged 3 different nozzles. I tried diluting it with water, but it still has clumps and cannot be sprayed. Either the formula changed, or this is an old bottle, with a degraded formula that no longer goes into solution. The product I got in 2023 was 5 star, but the current product is not useable
