Wish me luckUpdate:07/04/2023 tried the diet. Unless you are ready to change the way to live , don’t engage. I mean your grocery list will change, require separate from your family cooking. Results? Yes! Most motivation comes from quick visible results. But how long can you go ? Lots of adjustments and commitment.

Very clear easy to read and follow directions. Was not as "outlandish" as some reviews claimed. Basically, eat perimeter of supermarket (after 2 weeks) and stay away from sugar and refined foods, The galette is good, a little odd. but it is an tasty way to get fiber....you feel like you are eating breakfast or lunch. If you skip a meal, and say, try to have fiber in a drink, psychologically you might say I haven't eaten today. the galette subverts that thinking. You should weigh your portions I was very much surprised , even with my tiny hands, what 3 oz of steak was. If you can't follow now (because Holidays , whatever) my suggestion is don't go on for a week, then stop. You will be disappointed. It is carefully calibrated. If you do have self-resolve, you will lose 10 lbs by New Years Eve (or more).

I saw this book in my friends car and when inquiring about it and hearing of her friends success, I decided to try it myself. This was the more recent edition than hers by 2 yrs. and there were a couple of changes. I would order this one if someone is reading this and not sure about the difference between the other book and this one which I think has a more turquoise cover .I lost 12.5 pounds in 5 weeks and found it easy. Never get hungry and at the "true weight" I should be at, need to read the next phase but am holding steady within a lb. or two which drops off after one day back on protein only.

I followed the instructions and wow the pounds came off as I weighed myself each morning. You really have to like proteins and have a healthy liver for this diet. But be prepared because you become constipated without the fruits and vegetables. I stopped the first time I used this and gained the weight back. Beware, you have to stick with the second phase. So I'm using it again more seriously and using a good product to keep the bowels moving. I'm wiser the second time and I'm sticking with this because I love proteins and low-carb veggies. I have sworn off high-carb and high-sugar eating habits forever because that is what made me obese. I don't need all the junk I used to eat. Oh, also, on this plan your cravings for that junk goes away and your willpower to stay away from them GROWS. So, just make sure you are in good physical condition before you start this and buy a good salt substitute so your food still has taste. Best wishes!

This book is easy to read & understand. I like the helpful tips from the people who have lost weight.

I started this diet December 23rd. As of January 29th I've lost 26 pounds. This diet works. the first few days suck but your body gets used to it and its much easier. If your a fat a$$ like me and have trouble losing weight buy this book and start your life over again.

I can not say enough great things about much the Dukan Diet way of eating has changed my life. I have lost a total of 43 pounds by following the Dukan Diet. I have tried Medifast, Weight Watchers and even counting every calorie that went into my mouth. If you do the Dukan Diet, you will never have to count another calorie again. After I got used to eating the Dukan way I noticed I was much more aware of what I was putting in my mouth and what my body needed - real food, not packaged food. Nothing has helped me as much as the Dukan Diet. I have the original book as well and this book, The Dukan Diet Made Easy, is much more easier to follow.

Same old playbook. Just a newer version of the Atkins Diet.

Great book if you’re on the Dukan Diet

Easy to read. Well laid out.

Only just started the diet. Have lost 5 and a half pounds in four days so far. Easy to follow and plenty of recipes inside too. Have tried other diets and failed.

Bought this for my sister who is yet em arming on the Dukan diet. She seems pleased with it but I would suggest that the price needs to come down

I'm giving this book 1 star, not for the content, but for the book itself. This is the EXACT book that is sold in Europe as The Dukan Diet LIfe Plan. (You can order it here and it comes from England. You will have to wait longer, but it's so worth it.)I unfortunately bought this book first. I don't know why the American publishers decided this book would be better without any photos whatsoever. Even the cover has no picture! A lot of what is written doesn't make much sense either. I put it down to a bad translation, but I realize now comparing the two it's because of the layout.When I read reviews by people who had the Dukan Diet Life Plan raving about the beautiful photos, I thought "What beautiful photos?!?" I ordered it out of curiosity and I couldn't believe the difference! Reading it I'm sure it's exactly the same book - but what a difference proper illustrations make! Recipes that just sounded okay look wonderful when you have photos.I love the Dukan plan, and the info. here is great, but it would be so much easier to follow with the right layout and photos. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if the American version hasn't put off a lot of people just because of the total lack of illustrations. Do yourself a favour and forget about buying this version. Get The Lifeplan book instead.
