The bottle It leaked into the box. It should have been better wrapped - in liquid tight plastic of some kind. Also, it smells like wintergreen which is a good sign.

The lid on my bottle is very difficult to take off and put on. Also, there was no quality seal. I have another oil from this company (aniseed) that has a different lid of much higher quality that goes on and off easily, and it had a quality seal in tact before I first opened it. It makes me wonder if the product I received was a fake or else defective in some way. The smell is minty as others have said.
