Well built. Very pleased.
It is very well made. Does NOT feel cheap. I love the LED lights. I needed them the first time I used it. They are very bright. Comes with 10 glue sticks 8 3/8 inches long. I also purchased the (Gorilla Hot Glue Sticks, Full Size, 4" Long x .43" Diameter, 45 Count, Clear, (Pack of 1) $7.97) from the [Frequently bought together] section. They are too short for this gun. You have to load a second stick just to get the first stick through the gun. The stand is sturdy. Make sure your project/item to be glued is ready because once the glue begins melting, it drips a lot. The only thing that I do not like is the switch used to change between 60 watts and 100 watts is labeled with a 0 and 1, as you would find normally designating 0 = OFF and 1 = ON. The 60 watts and 100 watts label next to the switch are not easily noticed since they are embossed on the handle and the same color as the handle.

It great for medium to large projects but keep in mind the gun sometimes feels heavy.
I bought this new Hot Glue Gun because my mini Hot Glue Gun worked ok for small jobs; however, for big jobs it did not. For instance, I make my own Fish Filters instead of buying them for our 55 gallon tank. I Hot Glue the edges of New Fabric to the reusable plastic Fish Filters that have New Charcoal in them. The New Hot Glue Gun is faster, takes large glue sticks (less time loading), doesn’t drip hot glue while sitting idle on its stand or extra after I stop pushing on the trigger on the Gun. The only complaint is there is no on and off button on Hot Glue Gun. The only way is to unplug the Gun.

On-Off switch?
Received it within 2-days as promised. My wife LOVES the lights and ease of function. It Works well, however, the power switch does not turn off the heat to the tip. Came home and found it had left a pile of glue, and the tip was still hot. Trying to contact the vendor of this potential hazard. Apparently the user must unplug the gun to stop the heat.

Constantly Drips
Bought this for my wife who does crafts. The LED light feature is really nice. Unfortunately the big problem is that it constantly drips even on the low heat setting. This make it's hard to use for any detailed work and makes a big mess when you set it down in between uses. It's about every 15 seconds. The picture attaches shows how much dripped out sitting on it's stand for around 5 minutes. Never had even a cheap glue gun do this. I messaged the company that sells these about the issue asking if maybe we just received a defective one. They said there's nothing wrong with it, and that we need to unplug it between uses. What?!!. Ridiculous.Edit-The seller is sending me a replacement unit, so I have changed my review to positive in hopes that the replacement will not drip constantly. I applaud Vanaspace for their quick replies to my messages and diligence to rectify the issue.

This glue gun has become my go-to tool for crafts and repair jobs.
I used other glue guns in the past and those other ones always left a mess and didn't have the precise glue tip that this one has. This glue gun heats up super fast and has a stand that props up the tip to avoid drippage. It's always a good idea to put the gun on a flat surface, perhaps on a piece of cardboard, newspaper or anything to protect your countertop in case of possible drips. (one can never be too careful)The handle is the perfect size to fit comfortably in anyone's hand. You can tell when using it that it's constructed with quality and is durable, yet not heavy when holding it with one hand. The light helps when gluing smaller items, or when needing a focused light for a more detailed precise application. The tip on this gun is what impressed me the most. It really allows you to create thin lines of glue, which is perfect for smaller crafts. I like that it has a switch where you can select which level of heat you want to use. The nail file included can also help in cleaning off residue glue, on the gun or on your projects.I am so happy I found this glue gun, I have been wanting a new one for a while now.

Long glue sticks needed!
Great product! They did take really long glue sticks. Amazon pairs this purchase with Gorilla Glue, but those sticks are too small. Do your homework on the stick size.

Works great!
I've always used mini glue guns and this works so much better. It has nice control and gets very hot. I don't have a problem with a lot of excess dripping either. The light is a very nice feature too. Only complaint is that the red power switch doesn't actually turn this off and on, but rather toggles between 60 and 100 watts and you have to unplug to turn it off. That seems really wonky to me and could be a safety issue for those that think they are turning it off.

Regretting this purchase, not sure how everyone else loves it when it quits working.
Since only received the glue gun earlier this week, I have only used it 2 times, the first time, after about 30 minuted of being plugged in, it stopped working. I unplugged it with the intention of trying again later after it had cooled. Didn't get to it again until the next day, Plugged it in and worked for between 30 & 45 minutes and it seemed to be working just fine. I like the size of it and the light is a nice bonus, but I likely won't be doing many crafts in the dark, so I don't really need the light. I think it is a good product and have no regrets in purchasing it. After more uses, I am editing my review, I now regret this purchase. I am using the glue sticks that came with the glue gun, however still after about 30 minutes or less, it stops melting/feeding the glue. Even after unplugging it and letting it cool before trying again it stopped working. really frustrating when I have projects to finish.
