Looks good and does the job well. I can feel the quality of the air in my bedroom improved. The air coming out of the machine is decidedly cold but that's not an issue for me. The auto mode is great, the machine reacts to a change in air quality quickly; and the scheduler works as well. However, I won't be keeping the machine for two reasons: 1. In the sleep mode it emits an annoying, oscillating noise that makes it impossible to relax! I was advised to put the purifier on top of something else to make it less resonant. I also removed and flipped the filter upside down. Nothing helped. The noise persisted and that's a no from me. 2. The app is not great either (it disconnects easily) and data collection is highly inaccurate: I tested the device across the whole AIA spectrum, hitting 'poor' (red zone) and over 150 μg particles TWICE, and yet non of it registered on the air quality charts. It doesn't tell you which allergens are most common around you, either. So all in all, for the price it does its job but I need something more reliable.

I purchased this air purifier for the bedroom, as this room does sometimes suffer from mould especially during winter months when I do not open the window. I know that these air purifiers are not really meant to be used as a tool for mould control but it does appear to be helping to keep it at bay. The build quality is very good, it was easy to install just downloaded the app and it connected without any problems, the app is informative and functional, keeping you up to date with air quality readings, however it does sometimes disconnect from the app for no apparent reason. I keep it on an automatic setting which means it will adjust fan speed etc automatically depending on the quality of air it senses, so I just let it do its thing. I have had no issues with noise levels, although obviously there is some fan noise when it goes into turbo mode but wouldnt say it is excessive and it never stays in that mode for long. It has never woken me up of prevented me from sleeping. One important point to note is that when you first use this unit, please take out the filter and remove the sealed plastic bag that the filter is in. I neglected to do this, so for a good month it was trying to draw air through the sealed filter and I am lucky it didnt burn itself out or malfunction, however until I realised I thought the unit was defective as obviously it wasnt cleaning the air. As far as functionality it does appear to be doing a good job of prurifying the air as most of the time the reading in the app is showing that the air quality is good. Although I do not have accurate room length and width measurments, the room that it sits in is aprox. 12ft by 10ft. The only reservation I have, hense 4 stars and not 5, is the acuracy of filter change information as I suspect rather than it actually sensing that the filter needs to be cleaned it just seems to be telling me to clean the filter every couple of months, even though on inspection the filter looks perfectly clean. Incidently the filter is very easy to access, just unscrew (by hand) the port at the bottom of the unit and pull the filter out. Over all I'm very pleased with this purchase and it represents good value for money.

I’ve had this in my living space for a few weeks now, and here’s my honest, detailed experience to help others decide if it’s right for them: 👉 Real-World Performance 💨 Air feels noticeably fresher: It circulates air well for its size — great for everyday dust, pollen, pet dander and general home pollutants. The NanoProtect HEPA system traps 99.97 % of particles down to 0.003 microns. 🔇 Its quiet but NOT Super-quiet in sleep mode. 📱 App control is a bonus: The Philips Air+ app lets me change speeds and check filter status from my phone without getting up. 👉 What You Should Know 📶 App connectivity can be inconsistent: A couple of times I had to reconnect the device to Wi-Fi. Not a deal-breaker, but worth mentioning. 🌀 Good at particles but not odours: It lacks a strong activated carbon stage, so cooking smells or VOCs might linger longer than with higher-end models. ✅ Bottom line: This Philips air purifier is a solid choice if you want better everyday air quality with minimal noise and fuss. It’s simple to set up, fits well in living spaces, and noticeably reduces airborne particles — just don’t expect advanced air sensors or heavy odour neutralisation in this price range.

First of all, like many people have said, this thing is huge! - Think of like a smaller upside-down office waste bin sort of size. It does a good job - the air is noticeably different to other rooms when the door is kept closed but the downside is it connectivity. My personal opinion based on other Philips products I have owned is that they are innovative, but usually poorly executed and it's definitely the case with the internet/app connectivity with this device - 85-90% of the time it either refuses to retrieve the air sensor data or simply forgets the device altogether despite having excellent Wi-Fi signal strength. When you can get it to connect to the Air+ app you have the option of setting on/off schedules which is a really nice feature. If you can live with the intermittent connectivity and large size then considering the relative cheapness of the replacement filters, it’s a good product.

Decent air purifier which does the job well. Slightly bigger than expected and not whisper quite as advertised. Note that it doesn’t connect to 5GHz WiFi but will work perfectly fine on 2.4Gz (I had a mixed signal so had to turn the 5GHz off to connect). Once set up it works well with the app. I’ recommend waiting for this air purifier to go on sale instead of paying full price
