I really liked this Bible until I discovered a typo at Joel ...
I really liked this Bible until I discovered a typo at Joel 3:9a where it reads: 'Proclaim your this among the Gentiles...'. The word should be 'you', which can be used in the plural sense in this verse. It does make me wonder about quality control, and has taken away my trust in this as a reliable translation. If I find any further errors I will update this review.

Budget bible
I bought it for the price (12,93€) 3-4 months ago because it's "easy-read" with newer words than the old was of speaking, with text in red whenever God is speaking even in the old testament. But now when I needed a new one I see that the price have gone up almost 6€ being almost 19€ now. For this price it's better to buy a higher quality bible because the pages are so thin the letters bleed through to the other side and the underlines above go into the letters under it without any space in between, so it doesn't look very neat or well made or easy to read. If you underline, the lines go through to the other side. Nor does it have a band to mark pages with.It was worth the cheaper price before, but after the price went up this much higher for something made this cheap, it's better to find better quality.

Nice Bible For The Price
As usual, Whitaker House makes a nice Bible. The reasons I won't give it 5 stars: No bookmark, the font is a little light so you may feel as if the text is just running on, and it looks like there is some ink bleeding with pen and ink. That said, there is much to like. The font, though light can be read. The cover has a nice feel to it. Of course, the KJVER is THE CLOSEST to the King James that you're going to get. Archaic words are explained. There are plenty of blank pages in the front and back to put favorite Scriptures in. It is a GREAT Bible to carry around as a witnessing tool, and plenty light enough to take to Church or put next to your night stand before bed. It's NOT STUDY Bible, just the text. So if you're studying, use a alongside a Study Bible or Study App. But if you just want what everyone had what everyone had for about 320 years of English translation-just the Bible-you'll find a great use for it.

FONT SIZE DESCRIPTION ERROR AND FONT TOO SMALL
I am thankful to Whitaker House publishers for publishing a Bible with God's name in red in the Old Testament, and not just in red in the New Testament, like most publishers. My current NLT Bible is large print at a 12 pt font so that's the size I was looking for. Wanting to make sure I ordered a large print one I researched this Whitaker House Bible, using the ISBN from Amazon, matching it directly on Whitaker House's web site. On their site it said the font was 12.5. Perfect! When I received it from Amazon it was no way a 12.5 font. I have a font guide and this one looks to be 9 pt. I have found this problem with incorrectly labeled font descriptions, or font size missing from the Amazon descriptions on other Whitaker House Bibles on Amazon. Fortunately, with Amazon's great return policy one can try, and try again.
