Does what it says it will!
Being from Kansas the weather varies and you never know when you will have abnormal weather. This year we had a record for late frost, in which JWALT plant protector kept the majority of my plants alive. I had planted peppers and onions that could still be considered seedlings, though they had been inside for many weeks getting ready for Spring. The protector kept it warm enough for all the onions and for the majority of the peppers to survive even though they were so small. The temperature has fluxed from freezing to almost 70 degree and then back down to freezing again where the protectors lightly covered with snow. With proper use these covers will keep your plants warmer, and safer. Be careful to not leave them on when there is too much sun/ it gets too warm because it can cook the plants. When the moisture was trapped in there it became an extremely warm sauna. This helps to hold the heat in the night. This brings me to some more reasons I liked these. Not only were they easy to put in the ground but the where easy to pick up.The flaps on the end could be folder back, down, inwards, out or any way you needed to properly cover/ventilate the plants. They are double layered too! Also, If your rows are not exactly 18 feet you can two end stakes and press them together. All together this product did as was expected and protected plants from sub freezing temperatures. The plants are still trying to make it through this difficult Spring, but I may have to let you know how they turn out.

New thinner plastic
I bought these years ago and they have held up for many seasons. Just loved them and added more to my collection and was disappointed to find they switched to much cheaper plastic. I doubt these new ones will last as long...

perfect for protecting against frost
I wanted to put some of my plants earlier this year to have first harvest in June. In April, during the days the temperature in New England area is good for germination but there is considerable danger of the night frost killing your new seedlings. So this cover (two actually come in a package) sounds perfect when you have long (up to 18 feet) rows that you want to protect. It goes in relatively simple (though two people putting it on and off are preferable) and stays put even under heavy wind and/or rain. I noticed that the temperature inside the covers is considerably warmer then outside (I put small digital thermometer remote sensor) and the covers would not obstruct sun rays from providing energy to your young crops.I can't judge the durability but hopefully it would last at least several seasons. The construction does not inspire much confidence but so far there is no visible degradation. Now, one issue I have with these covers is how to keep ground underneath them moist. Rain does not reach it and the ground will dry out quickly unless you water it at least daily. But to do so you need to completely remove the cover and then put it back on after watering. This is a real hassle. I could probably buy an irrigation hose to roll it under the cover but now the whole setup becomes considerably more complicated and not to say more expensive. If I can solve the issue of watering, I would consider this a very good purchase and highly recommendable to anyone living in the colder climates.

Not as advertised- one not two covers
I received only one tunnel cover but paid for two. Would have returned, but I opened the box a couple weeks after received, when I actually needed the covers to protect my newly emerged seedlings from Florida's pelting summer rain.

Not worth the money!
This product tears easily. I do not believe it is worth the money that I paid for it. Very, very flimsy.

Garden planted, check
Really happy with these. Well-made. I was thinking that I would only get one use out of them, but they will clearly be fine for next year. I am one of very few people my area in Massachusetts that has my seeds in the ground! They work like mini-greenhouses. My seeds will be seedlings and, by the end of the month, I will take the covers off and be ahead of the game come harvest time.

Great for Smaller Plants, but Not for Larger Ones
The hoops are smaller than I anticipated. They're great for smaller plants, but they are too short for larger plants. Did the job, though - kept my seedlings safe during a freeze.

TunLcover works
These covers worked great although we didn't have the expected frost they where easy to use and place by myself. I did find that you need to squeeze the wires in just a little when pushing them in to put pressure on them. This helped keep them in place when windy. Great product!
