awesome tires!
Bought 3 sets for my mountain ebikes. They roll smooth and look badass!Make sure you use soapy water on the tires to set the beads otherwise the wheels will be wobbly and will have to repeat installation. There are lots of good videos on YT

Illinois mudder
Recently while visiting Crested Butte I had the opportunity to test ride a bike that was equipped with Maxxis-Minions 'DHF' on both front and rear and was impressed with the traction and ride characteristics. While i'm not willing to give up my front 'dart classic' i did mount the 'DHF' on the back of my bike (scott spark) and its a great tire. For Illinois single track/cross country it gets decent traction in mud and handles roots and rocks just fine. Seems to hold its line in fast corners with just a hint of drift. The 2.35 seems true to size compared to other tires and so far i haven't had any trouble with sidewall tears, plus it rolls decent on a hard surface. Its my new current favorite rear tire!

I have enjoyed these and would purchase again
I have been riding these for about two weeks now and have roughly 15-20 hours on them across numerous downhill trails. The trails I have been riding are either full of rocks and roots, or smoother downhill trails that tend to have loose debris on top of them and some mud. On the rocks and roots I have not had any unexpected problems but it should be noted they will want to slip quite a bit because this is not what they are intended for. On the smoother trails with loose debris such as sticks, pine needles and leaves these work very well and are predicable. In mud they work decent even though they are not really intended for it.Overall, I have enjoyed these and would purchase again. I am running them on the front and rear currently and have had no recognizable wear or ripped knobs like some others have seen.

Great tire. I blew the rear about a 1/4 of a mile in to the first ride on a very sharp rock that ripped the sidewall open. I ordered a replacement and have avoided landing on very sharp rocks since then.

My favorite tire
I've tried a lot of different tires and I've determined that the Minion's are absolutely my favorite tire. I run the Minion DHF tires on the front and rear of my xc bike. The extra weight is worth it for the fantastic grip these tires have. I purchased the 60a compound and they last a long time.

rolls good. Mounted on mavic rims and it's only 2
Plenty of grip in corners, rolls good. Mounted on mavic rims and it's only 2.1 wide despite saying 2.35.

Graphics not matching add
Was looking to match a front tire. The graphics on this tire are not the same as depicted in the add. It's a nice tire and it did show up quickly, but I'm not happy with the appearance.

Some serious kick dirt tires.
These Maxxis Minion folding 26x2.35 tires are great. I purchased both the front and rear tires. Good traction for the loose material found in Tucson, AZ. Fast tires, I do not feel much rolling resistance. Plus, the large volume just eats up the rocks and bumps. I run mine at only 20 psi and they are plenty hard, the rims do not strike and I don't feel any tire roll. I am running Stans NO-tubes sealant system in these tires for 2 months now. They installed easily with the Stans and so far no blebs in the tread or leaks. I am very happy with these tires. I use them for cross country and whatever technical terrain I can find. Woo-Hoo
