NEW Glossier Zit Stick (Acne Spot Treatment)

Hi guys, I really love this product and I’m afraid some of you may be using it a bit incorrectly. This is a spot treatment, meaning you only put it on the very tiny spots where an active pimple is. Not the surrounding area. Putting it all over your entire face or large areas will only cause more breakouts to occur, which is why it is in a pen form to help you to more directly target where the product needs to go. Also you have to turn the tube many many, many times before product will come out, but I guarantee you there is a lot of product in there, I’ve had my stick for four months, applying it to 3 to 8 spots on my face each night and I still have not run out. Give your stick another try, keep turning and I promise you will get product eventually. I seriously thought there was nothing in there when I got mine as well, but the next day I decided to just keep turning until either something came out, or I reached the end of the spiraling mechanism that allows it to turn. Once product starts coming out, (this is the key) you only need to turn it three or four clicks each time, you don’t need to see product oozing out in order for it to coat the rollerball. If you see product using out, you are using too much. After just three or four clicks, you can begin to feel the product on your skin, being slightly colder and wetter than the roller ball itself. Probably a little expensive to give to kids, or anyone who’s not going to use it exactly as directed. After years of struggling with trying to apply Benzoyl peroxide creams only to my active acne spots, this directed and targeted application is a godsend! I am ordering more right now!

PRODUCT CAN DO MORE THAN IRRITATE SKIN IT CAN CHEMICHALLY BURN SKIN.I’ve used acne spot treatments with higher concentrations of benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid and never encountered a problem like the problems I encountered using the Zit Stick.I read the instructions, directions, warnings, and ingredients before using. Staying within the Glossier directions the initial results were great, unbelievable even. Within 24 hours 2 pimples reduced in size and height from skin to now just red, flat skin.I continued the treatment as directed. The 2 sites, flat red sites, were treated for an addictional 24-36 hours after the initial treatment. After the 24-36 hour treatment mentioned above something changed.After washing my face I noticed the 2 sites scabbed over. I thought scabs were a good thing. The final stage of healing. Once they peeled off pimples-be-gone. No, not at all.The scabs went away leaving bare flesh. My forehead with a 1/4 blood red opening and a 1/8 blood red opening on the side of my nose.I purchased a product to improve my image, not make it worse. I have bad problems with body image, body dysmorphia, so to hope something could help me improve that view only to not deliver was crushing.I reached out to Glosier for help. I explained the problem. I asked if they could help from someone on the development team to see if they’d come across this before. Both times I was sent a standard corporate letter insisting Glosier cannot help, I should see a dermatologist, and they can issue a refund.This has been a terrible experience. I caution anyone who buys this product to read all you can about the Zit Stick. I also recommend trying the Zit Stick on a discreet part of your face or neck. If testing follow as if you have the worst pimple. Still, follow instructions and find your skin’s tolerance.I used this product 12/12/18 and it’s now 12/28/18. I am still trying to get rid of the 2 wounds/scars I have from the ZitStick

Works well, I bought as a gift to my relatives. The problem in the beginning of using - you need twist the tip of the handle for a long time, then it works perfect.

Product came timely and securely packed. Teenager used and it left white residue.

Zits go away in ~2 days with no irritation (and I have sensitive skin + roseca). Love the small applicator too.

Okay so I revived this product not even a week ago and it’s already out of product. I have been putting it on my face at night and not even using a large amount of product. But some how my tube is already empty?? They should put this as travel size. I didn’t even have the container long enough to see results!!! Don’t buy this. It has little to no product in it. I’m not sure if they just gave me a bad stick or what. But it’s not worth the money at all

It works great but for the price it’s not worth it. After a week the tub was empty
