Victor Fly Magnet attracts and traps flies. The attractant lures them in, but doesn't let them escape. This patented non-poisonous bait, included with each trap, is the most effective bait on the market - it out-performs competitive products 20 to 1. For outdoor use. Safe around children, pets and the environment, these are ideal to use at your backyard party.

Kills the Flies
Great! Smelly but kills a TON of flies.

So effective, and yet so simple and safe!
This was a wonderful Aleutian to houseflies that get in and little Nats. Just fill with water to the line and add the powder. I placed it away from food or pets food, and it was amazingly effective. When the problem was solved, I simply disposed of the unit in my outside, trash wrapped up, so nothing would leak. I’ve re-purchased them just to keep on hand.

They Work

Disgustingly Effective
These traps have been hugely successful in my backyard. We had a pretty bad fly problem, so, in addition to working hard on cleaning up debris and other fly breeding sites, we set out several of these traps. My pictures show a brand new trap, then two traps that have been out for about 4 weeks. I have to say that looking into one of these traps and seeing the hundreds of dead and dying flies is a little stomach-churning, hence the "disgustingly" in my title. When I first put them out, the wind knocked one over and my dog licked up some of the bait inside, but with no ill-effects, so these do seem pretty pet-safe.Two things to remember:1. These traps smell pretty bad once activated, so they are outdoor only, and you'll want to be mindful of where you put them. Apparently flies think it smells like a combination orgy/all-you-can-eat buffet, and they will literally kill themselves to get to it.2. For large infestations, these won't solve the problem on their own, right away. You also need to clean up any areas where they are breeding (animal feces, trash cans, etc.). It took a lot of cleaning, and about a month of having multiple traps out, to get our problem under control.

They work!!
I live on 2 acres w/ 6 dogs, 3 horses and 13 chickens. The flies are horrible! I set out all 6 of these traps at once and some started attracting flies immediately, other ones aren’t as “active” but they are ALL SO NASTY! The one on the fence by the horse trough is the fullest. The maggots have hatched and it’s so disgusting to look at, Idk who in their right mind would think these are “re-useable”!! Barf! I will NOT “just toss the contents and refill with new bait” as directed!! I’d rather spend $7 on a new one and toss the entire container! My one peeve is that there is no way to secure the nauseating contents! I may have to use several contractor’s bags to be able to dispose of these repulsive containers!!

These things work!
We have used other outdoor fly traps, but have found this to be the most effective. It does stink death rolled over, also probably why it works. Just be aware that you won't want to hang this on the patio or within 20-30 feet of anywhere you want to regularly spend time.

worst fly trap ever!!!
I have chickens, horses and dogs that need to have flies controlled. The product was easy to use BUT the flies were getting out as fast as they were going in. There is no grate or channels to keep them in like the other products that I have used over the years. The plastic was very thin on the top and broke apart easily. I e-mailed the company to tell them my situation, and have not heard back from them in about 2 weeks. Fly attractant is not cheap, I asked them to replace the bottles and attractant. I will never buy any of these products again. They should not be on the market, they are WORTHLESS!

Brings flies from all over the county!!!
Certainly draws flies from all over the neighborhood!!! The absolute worst smell in the world!!! We had to throw it away after 2/days because the smell was disgusting. Since we threw it away, we have bought a sticky fly and wrap and it works fine....with no smell!!!
