Dear Mr. President: Teen Voices From Across the Country

Timely, thought-provoking and well thought out. No matter where you land in the political spectrum now more than ever we need our young people to step up and voice their opinions. These are the leaders of tomorrow. My experience may not be like your experience but we are one people and our differences should not divide us. What I love about these essays, poems, and letters is the diversity of thought. An undercurrent of empathy runs through this book. I cannot help but think of the poem on Ellis Island. The pen is so much mightier than the sword. Thank you for giving me hope for our future.
