The Lord of the Rings: Boxed Set

This product is ,frankly speaking here, probably one of the best ways to read the trilogy; to convice you of this statement here are a list of pros and cons i found with this bookset in particular:*PROS*-1) Cheap and affordable when compared to other sets.2)Better that most of the other booksets in the same price range as theyre more compact and have the original tolkein cover illustrations.3)Books themselves are nice to hold and are GREAT for travel,due to their compact size they fit almost everywhere,so theyre space effecient.4)no complaints about the text font size or the paper quality.*CONS*-1) The spine does develop a white line after only the first read.2)The cover the set comes in is not going to hold up, and is wildly inconvient to use.

Good bundle

The media could not be loaded. The books are of great quality, paper is also nice, smaller form factor so might not be for everyone and the outer box/container for the books had couple of chips here and there but nothing major the only issue i had was the box was not glued properly the adhesive was not strong so it just fell apart when i unboxed it and i had to glue it my self but other than that everything else was great.

I'm so glad to have received this amazing book set. The books are of very good quality and these are very affordable as compared to the other editions. I received them in perfect packaging. The font size is not too big but can be read easily and the binding is also nice. This is one such set you can keep for display in your collection.this a perfect LOTR book set a reader can have with them. You can buy these without any second thoughts.

I've always loved the lord of the rings. I have some paperback copies that I've had for 20 years, that have came with me, moving from place to place. I thought it was finally time to get some nice hardcover editions. I wanted ones that looked nice on a shelf or display, and have their own box to keep them together, safe and clean.I decided on these ones, and they are perfect! They are exactly what I expected and wanted. And the price wasnt too expensive.-An extra bonus was the fold out map in the back of each book! Super cool.

Llegaron en perfectas condiciones, han sido mis acompañantes en varios viajes y aun ahora estan en buen estado. Además se ven bonitos en el librero.

O primeiro livro de Tolkien que li foi The Hobbit quando tinha 9 anos de idade. Aos 14 comecei com Lord of the Rings e não parei mais. Tenho quase todos os livros. O meu conjunto original da trilogia é da década de 80 edição da Ballentine com as capas de Tolkien. De tanto lê os livros ao longo dos anos, eles estavam já bem batidos. Estava precisando de uma edição nova e de capa dura e resolvi comprar esta. Estou super satisfeita. Os livros são de ótima qualidade, bem feitos e o que mais gostei com um mapa completo de Middle Earth que abre no final do livro. Foi uma ótima compra e adição a minha coleção.
