Work Like a Dream
Given the price of these clippers, I was reluctant to pay this much for "just nail clippers." But I have some Kershaw knives, which are well made, and Kershaw has a good reputation for making knives and similar products, so I thought I'd give them a try. When I first used them, my reaction was, "Wow! These cut so easily." The angle of the clippers is a little unusual at first, but the logic behind it is that--as opposed to cutting your finger nails--you are reaching down to cut toe nails, and so the angle of the head makes it easier to hold and use the clippers. It takes very little effort/pressure to cut the thickest nails. I think it is the combination of very sharp blades and the slightly longer handles provide greater leverage, making it easy to cut through the nails. The five stars is based solely on functionality. As good as they are, I still think these are overpriced (at $49.99 they'd still be outrageously expensive), so taking price into consideration, I'd go down to four stars. But I have to admit, pricey or not, I'm glad I bought them. (Note that previously I had Seki Edge clippers, which also were very sharp and worked well; but I like these even better.)

Too pricey
Advertised as toenail clipper for elderly use. Good idea. Material looks good, but cannot cut toenails because gap is too thin.

Awesome clippers but weird angle
Awesome clippers but weird angle. I could not get used to the angle but they are super sharp and precise. I ended up returning them and buying a straight set of KAI clippers (that's who makes these for Kershaw).

Blades curved the wrong direction!
I loved the handle design over traditional clippers; however, the blades are curved in the opposite shape of your nails (bowed out versus in like traditional clippers). It caused some really sharp pointed edges and would have required using a file every time. It also slowed me down over traditional clippers because the shape didn’t allow me to effectively align for the next cut either. If the blade was concave it would have easily been worth the money; however, for the cost and poor result I returned them in favor of a traditional design for a fraction of the cost.

Great for those with a bad back, very sharp!
Well worth the price of admission. I can trim my toenails with a bad back.

There pricy but we'll worth it. There extremely sharp and come in a nice hard case.

とにかく切れ味が抜群。 形が通常の爪切りとは異なるので、 慣れるまで多少の時間はかかるが、 慣れてからはこの形のほうが使いやすい。

It's very nice to cut toe nails. Other items which I bought previouly is less useful compared with this item.

切れ味は 良いが歯の開きが小さくて爪の隙間に入りにくく操作がしにくい

切れ具合は素晴らしいが小生の足の爪切りには不向きであった。 理由 足の爪が厚いので「爪切り」が爪にセット不可能であった。
