Scania at Work: LB110, 111, 140 and 141

I loved the big Scanias when I was a schoolboy in the 70s. A mate's dad drove a 110 Super for Crow and I was very jealous. I like to think that Steve's dad is driving the 110 on the front cover of this great book. Mr Dyer really knows his stuff and by the time you've finished reading this you will be very knowledgeable and very happy! Highly recommended!

Great book,this takes me back to the 1970s and early 80s with these great machinesfrom sweden.Fantastic colour pictures but the only downside for me is there's nopicture's of the cab interior's other than that spot on.

Das Buch handelt um die Scania Serie LB110, 111, 140 und 141. Wollte es anfangs nicht bestellen, da es in englisch geschrieben ist. Nach Erhalt war ich positiv überrascht. Das Buch enhält sehr viele schöne Fotos, meist in Farbe, auf 144 Seiten, von alten Scanias, meist aus England, aber auch einige schöne Werksfotos von Scania AB Schweden sind dabei.Dazu zu jedem Foto einen kurzen Text zum gezeigten Lkw.Ausserdem gibt es zu jedem der 4 Typen anfänglich noch einen 2 seitigen Einführungstext, wo man noch genaueres erfahren kann. Auch für Modellbauer, ist das Buch sicher zu empfehlen,da es wie gesagt viele schöne Fotos hat(leider keine Detailfotos).Für echte Scania Fans, wie ich, ein Muss!

I can only relate to you what the person i brought this book for told me, but it is informative, well illustrated & for Scania lovers, a very interesting read.The book is well put together & feels robust & well worth the money. Great buy!
