I was skeptical about how this sound bar w/ sub-woofer would sound because I've tried others that are name brand but this Thonet and Vander Dunn Bluetooth Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer cranks! I don't have a large room and I needed a sound bar with a width of less than 34" so this one was perfect. I'm really impressed with the overall sound and the bass. I've read other reviews for this sound bar and I disagree with all the bad ones. First the remote. It has all the features I need including bass, treble, Bluetooth, input selection and movie or news equalizer mode. I don't think you will find a universal remote that will map all those functions. So I just use it separately and that works for me. I have a Roku TV so the only Bluetooth speaker that will pair with it is the Roku speakers ($199 + tax). I bought this one before I realized there were speakers from Roku for this TV so I bought those to compare. The Roku speakers sound good but they don't have the bass that this one does with it's sub-woofer. And the Roku speakers only have equalizer adjustments when watching TV. No audio adjustments when streaming iHeart or Pandora. With the better bass, great sound and audio adjustments I think this sound bar is far better so I returned the Roku speakers. Because Roku does not allow any Bluetooth speakers to pair except their $200 ones I used the optical connector on this sound bar to connect to the TV. If I didn't have a Roku I'm sure the Bluetooth would pair just fine with any other TV. I just noticed that this item is no longer available on Amazon. Well hopefully they will get it back because it's a great buy or the Thonet and Vander Dunn Web site is alternative. (3/15/19)This is a follow up review. I had an issue with the subwoofer cutting out. I contacted the seller. Spoke to a gentlemen named Robert and he was very helpful. He replaced the entire unit at no charge with free shipping. I've not had any problems since then with one exception. I have a lot of wireless including Bluetooth devices in my apartment and of course my neighbors have their wireless devices too. During the last 6 months I've only had the sub cut out twice and the solution is quite simple. Power off both units, unplug, re-plug, power on, and let the wireless connection connect. Problem gone. The sound on this unit is really awesome. But if you live in an apartment and do crank it up... you could get evicted for a noise violation. Solution: move to house and keep Dunn soundbar! (9/28/19)

Trying to decide if I should return it. I just got it today and hooked it up. While playing Taylor Swift - Are you ready for it (The song I use to test Bass) the bass has dropped a few times. I'm filing with the antenna to see if I can find a better position, but I'm wondering if the subwoofer is too far from the bar. I put it behind me for a more immersive experience. Also haven't checked the manual yet.We'll see how it works out.

The item came used but in perfect condition. I was super surprised to see that the subwoofer had no wire connection. Wireless is convenient and very reliable this days however I had problems in the past where there was a slight delay and I tend to prefer sound quality over comfort.For the price I genuinely believed the sound to be better.

This 29 3/4" soundbar, paired with the TV quickly and has a Bluetooth feature, that worked well. It came with a credit card shaped remote, a instruction booklet and connection cords. The sound quality was decent. The only negatives, were that the sub woofer doesn't shut off when you turn off the sound bar and the instruction manual, does not contain any added info, on all that this device can do. One added positive, is because of its size, it fits under the TV well.

The only thing about this product is not made in Germany. The package says made in China with German technology, other than that It’s definitely worth it. The sound is hundred percent better than the tv and so easy to install. Works even with any blue tooth device.

I love my music and movies, I gave a 50in. Samsung and the soundbar goes great with it, not only that...the sound quality is superb and the sub thumps beyond belief, very satisfied, great job and thank you!

No remote control supplied, no response from Thonet & Vander customer care, bass is good but treble could have been better. Looks good and easy to install.

The media could not be loaded.  I haven’t tried the product but I fear to open it as I think it is usedI purchased the product as it was highly recommended by my friend in MumbaiBut the packaging is very poor
