Terrible Advice! Like Telling Diabetics to Eat Sugar, Maple Syrup, and Honey
I believe this book was written just to cash in on the relatively new SIBO awareness. I suspect all the five star reviews are phony or written by someone who either doesn't have SIBO or hasn't tried the diet laid out in this scam of a book. The author notes that there are four SIBO diets -- Specific Carbohydrate, Low FODMAP, GAPS, and Cedars Sinai -- and gives the briefest overview of each. So far so good. If you've done any reading on SIBO you know that each diet makes certain assumptions about what people with SIBO can and cannot eat. This author throws all the diets together, combining all of the allowed foods of each theory/diet, and says you can eat *all* those allowed foods. There is no understanding of what SIBO actually is and no rationale for her "diet." It's unbelievable. As you can see in my photos, she says that the only vegetables you cannot eat are, quote, "Basically any vegetables except onions and garlic." Seriously. Please do not follow this advice! If that weren't bad enough, then, a few pages after giving this one caveat, you will find a recipe that calls for...wait....you guessed it....garlic! Someone must have missed that one mention of garlic when they were cutting and pasting recipes from Betty Crocker. If you do a search of the author's name, you will not find other SIBO related work.I am not just going to trash this book. I also bought "The SIBO Diet Plan: Four Weeks to Relieve Symptoms and Manage SIBO" by Regan MScN, Kristy (Author), with a forward by SIBO pioneer Allison Siebecker ND MSOM LAc. I am in week one with this book and find the advice solid, the recipes good, the layout and organization thoughtful and easy to use.

Not SIBO strict
I was excited to find a simple SIBO recipe book but this does NOT work if you are needing to follow a strict SIBO diet. This includes potatoes, rice, many things that are a no no with SIBO. Good recipes but not helpful if you are needing a strict SIBO diet.

Ideal for SIBO
Sometimeit seems like no one is taking SIBO seriously including doctors, nutritionists, and health care professionals. There is a lot of ignorance about SIBO and those of us who have personally fought the battle already know this. This cookbook is exactly what you need if you are seeking relief from SIBO. The recipes are delicious and they follow the theory that is explained at the beginning of this book. SIBO isn't a mystery and you don't have to suffer from it. You just have to know what you are doing and have the right collection of recipes.

SIBO Cookbook: 100 SIBO Recipes
This SIBO Cookbook is VERY misleading and contradictory. I read some of the negative reviews, but I decided to get it anyway because of the price; however, they were right. For example, the author wrote don't use garlic, but a recipe would suggest adding a whole clove of garlic in the meal. This book contains many recipes, but also many ingredients that are not good for SIBO or Low FODMAP. Please, do your own research before you blindly try everything in this book.

Just follow the meal and feel better
Excellent 4 week plan. Well balanced and ensures you are following the diet. The recipes made me feel great and they are fine for my family to eat too even though they don't have the same SIBO symptoms as me.This cookbook has significantly changed my quality of life for the better. Honestly, just follow the meal plan. If you have SIBO, you will feel better too.

Nice book.
Great, essential information on SIBO for any individual who needs to gain proficiency with the fundamentals about the condition and what to do about it. I needed to peruse this book since I believed I could truly profit by the eating routine arrangement itself since I experience the ill effects of a significant number of the manifestations of SIBO.

Good
This cookbook is actually what you need on the off chance that you are looking for alleviation from SIBO. The formulas are delectable and they pursue the hypothesis that is clarified toward the start of this book. SIBO isn't a secret and you don't need to experience the ill effects of it. You simply need to realize what you are doing and have the correct accumulation of formulas.
