Worked well and solved issue with open circuit on ABS

This fixed my abs sensor issue light on my dash, on my 2004 sierra.

Worked just like it should! Fits and looks like OEM part.

Replaced the faulty sensor with this one. Fit was fine.All seemed fine until a few days later, the ABS light & chime began going on and off incessantly. As soon as I unplugged this sensor, the on/off meshugas stopped.Will be returning it. Not certain if it’s just a faulty unit or poor quality as some others have reported.

Great price but poor quality. Snapped while putting bolt in. Threading on bolt was different.

The difference in quality between this and an OEM is readily apparent. However it does work. We'll just see how long it lasts. The OEM sensor has 2 O rings that are pretty thick. This one only has a single very thin O ring. It "ohms out" at only about 6 1/2 where the OEM was 7. Not sure what that exactly means either. This item costs about 5 times LESS than the OEM part. So there is obviously going to be some quality trade off.

I purchased 2 of these ABS sensors for my 2001 Silverado 4x4. I picked the truck up in January, 2020 and the ABS light had been on since I’d gotten it.I assumed it was the module/pump, but the fuse for the ABS was pulled from my truck, and when I plugged it back in, the ABS began enabling at speeds between 2-10 MPH. I knew a sensor or both had to be the culprit.Sure enough, after removing the old sensors, cleaning the knuckle a bit and then installing the new sensors, they cleared up the ABS issue.Tamkken seems to be one of only two aftermarket brand sensors that actually fix ABS issues with GM vehicles.

Just about the same as OEM, but the collar next to the sensor is stiffer and does require more effort to fit through the brake shield.**Just note - before you replace this, check your wheel bearings thoroughly. New bearing hub assemblies come with this sensor on. (I had ordered this after getting an ABS error showing that this sensor was bad, when I was installing it I realized the bearing hub would soon need to be replaced.)
