Set of 4 Square Sushi Dipping Sauce Dishes - Sepia G 454

I shouldn't be as impressed as I am about these bowls, but I just can't help it. They're beautiful, useful, and clearly high quality. They're heavy and thick with smooth edges, and feel good in the hand. Although they're theoretically dipping sauce bowls (and do a great job in that role) they are large enough to hold a breakfast serving of grapefruit segments, and perfect for cracking eggs into as I'm preparing to poach them. They also nest beautifully in the dishwasher. I wish they cost less money, but they're worth the price.

These are ceramic with a pretty pattern. Holds 3 tablespoons nicely at a level suitable for dipping. 6 tablespoons fills it to the brim. One had a small ceramic chip (contamination) fired in place making a sharp spot on the outside. Quality problem in both manufacturing and then inspection prior to ship. Too bad - prevents a higher rating from me. This is a review of a product I purchased for personal use. I have accepted no gifts, freebies, promotions or any other form of compensation.

Very nice designs, well made and they look great on the table with soy dipping sauces for my Dim Sum dumplings and pot stickers. The only issue I have is the bowls run wide and shallow, making the dipping sauces slosh out of the bowls if you fill them and then bring them to the table, unless you do not break the rice paper when you walk, Grasshopper. Mix your sauces and pour at the table, and you're good-to-go!

This was a gift and the recipient invited me to a sushi dinner using these dishes. They (as well as I) thought the dishes were beautiful, and they did indeed make for a lovely presentation. I ordered 4 more for them so they could be used when inviting more than 4 people.

These are beautiful! They look just like the picture. They should be great for dipping! The shipment came quickly and were packaged well. Can't wait to use them.

I received them after a short wait. Packaging was well thought out to prevent breaking. Loved the design and the colors and patterns are beautiful. Solid weight prevents breaking easily. Dropped one onto stone counter from about 10" height. Didn't chip or crack.

Exactly what I wanted, and I use them all the time for entertainment, they are dishwasher safe, and very durable. I had a scary moment were I dropped one on the counter and it bounced. I don't recommend testing that, but it didn't break.

These small not deep beautiful dishes I got for my 19 year old cat, Trisha. Perfect for her. We both have treats in the dishes. We both love ceramic dishes.These are great.
