High Quality Long Cable For My Retro Game Streaming Set Up
I stream older game consoles using a Retrotink. I moved my room around and my short HDMI cables wouldn't reach my computer's capture card anymore. This one seemed to be reliable and an established brand, so I bought it after looking at many of the HDMI cables available on here. There is no lag at all that I can see and I can even play the game just using OBS's preview without looking at my TV. That's a huge plus for me! These are super handy to have around for streaming set ups for sure. The cable is heavy and feels sturdy; I always try to get braided cables. Overall well worth the price!

4k - oh my!
This past black friday, I took advantage of some deals and picked up a 65 inch, curved Samsung SUHD TV online. One of the first calls I made was to DirecTV to upgrade my box to one of the Genie DVR boxes that supports true 4K video. The second stop I made was to pick up these Fusion4K cables to make sure I had cables that could handle 4K. I bought these based on price and reviews. You have to find the real users and ignore unverified reviews and reviews from people who are convinced that a cable can do magically turn 1080p into 4K - no cable can do that. There are a ton of people who have used these things with 4K, BluRay, and even regular 1080p signals with great success and I'm one of them. These cables are a great addition to my setup and I'll be using them again and again as I upgrade with the future. As far as 4K and how it looks with these cables - it's not even describable. It makes 1080p look like a bad antenna signal. The first thing I watched was Spider Man 3 on the Genie box and it was completely amazing. Another note: Before I swapped the cables, I did test BluRay viewing with Guardians of the Galaxy just to see what happens since others said the cable made a difference. The TV is great by itself and I know that the cable didn't make the resolution higher, but both myself and my wife think the picture is cleaner even with BluRay. We went back and forth just to make sure. Cleaner meaning there is a little more brightness if that makes sense. The cables are really thick but surprisingly flexible and they definitely deliver a clean signal for sure. Considering the cost of other premium cables, I don't think you can go wrong here. There is a high quality factor for the price. It is "Professional Series" for sure.

Great quality. Better pricing that other high end brands.
This cable is fantastic. I'm not a pro, but I threw everything I could find at this cable and it worked flawlessly. The price was much better (about half on average) than other high end cables. I installed it by pulling through my ceiling panels so the CL3 rating was important to me. Construction: The connectors are all metal and very sturdy. They kind of "click" into place and there is no wobble when connected to my devices. The cable itself is covered in a braided nylon material. This ended up being useful for me because I pulled it through my ceiling and the braiding not only protected the insulation on the cable, but also kept it from snagging on anything or binding up on itself. Overall the cable feels very heavy duty. How I tested: Connected to a Sony XBR75x850C 75-inch 4K TV. I downloaded some 4K UltraHD video clips (they're easy to find online) and connected my computer directly to the TV. I wanted to test directly against the TV with no other components. This test was fantastic and I raced to get the rest of my system hooked up. I've never seen video this good and the cable didn't miss a beat. I played about 40 minutes of different clips. Next, I hooked up the rest of my system. BluRay at 1080p looked great, but also sounded crystal clear on my 7.1 sound system. Regular 1080p TV over DirecTV was as expected as well. 1080p looks the same as it did before which means that's as good as 1080p is going to get through satellite. I spoiled myself by watchin 4k first. 4K is the future and I've seen it. This cable is the way to go for me. It's run through my ceiling and I don't think I'm going to have to worry about this thing for many years.

Good- but don't believe the hype
So I usually do not do long reviews but for this one- I really wanted to share my thoughts with the user community and prospective buyers. First the cable is good and works as expected -18GPS 4K ARC and HDR. Now my concern is with the reviews. An HDMI cable will not increase your picture quality, will not upscale the image, will not make an image better than any other HDMI cable of the same specifications in good manufactured condition. The cable itself its not thicker than the amazons basics - and performs similarly. (I have both). Actually Amazon's is thicker and heavier. The braided cable is nice- a matter of taste- but nice- but it also makes the cable stiff and difficult to route as does not handle curves well. An electroplated gold connection should not have any significance in a HDMI cable- but again- looks nice. The fit into the HDMI port is same as most- not too hard- bends a bit on pressure as the cable is stiff- nothing out of the ordinary. So very nice cable. It performed flawlessly in my mid-high end gear. To my point- I think a lot of the reviews focus on picture quality- when the cable is not the driving factor! Also a lot of the reviews do not talk about the cable itself- just how wonderful it is or how good the image looks. I recommend this cable if your setup can handle the stiffness. But dont believe the hype - and if your budget is limited- you can get a nice one by half the price (or less).
