Really well made but mine came low on padding so I opened up the back and added some.. he is now perfect

My son loves this toy. It's funny talking and great soft material.

You can record the littles ones own voice ( that caused giggles) or your voice to cause laughter.The raccoon repeats the message with a silly voice.Its cute.Just not convinced that it has longevity.Plus the raccoon is not very huggable.

I really liked the material and the style of the plushie, it has a pocket in the back that holds the electronics box and can be closed (velcro not zipper). It can be machine washed after you remove the electronics box.This is where all the good parts end.The sound is muffled, and the recording-replay feature is terrible, the electronics box has a button that when is pressed it should start recording what you say and then play it back to you. Bit it works sporadically doesn't capture everything even if you actually shout at it, and the payback is interrupted and really bad quality. It's an actual source of frustration. It really spoils the entire thing, they could have sold just the plushie without the electronics and the customer satisfaction would have been better. All these with the box removed from the plushie, with it inside it was worse, because of all the material between you and the box.Frustrated and disappointed, I returned the item.

Great value for a talking toy that looks and feels great too. Took me a few minutes to work out how to get it to repeat phrase. The recording us more obvious. The repeat back in squeaky voice is good and clear enough. The toy seems well made and us part of a range.

Rascal is a real cutie and little ones will love his friendly voice and colourful tummy and ears.Just squeeze his tummy and speak to him, he will talk back to you in a silly high pitched voice. The quality of the toy is lovely and feels really safe to play with. The toy comes with batteries included which are replaceable. If Rascal becomes mucky his battery pack can be removed and he can be popped in the washing machine. Good as new!Sure to become a hit with little ones.

Those big bold eyes were an immediate winner, the rest of the racoon a second thought. Aww. That said, the lime and purple, rain-forest inspired colours ensure the rest of Rascal do not get missed for long. His red scarf (and eclectic socks) gives him a trendy look too. The scarf is stitched down, so it does not present a hazard.Rascal's appeal goes beyond the aesthetic, for in his body is a push button recorder, sampling your voice (or any sound) for a short time, which is then played back at a sped up tempo and somewhat altered. Like those chipmunks, and just as... interesting. Our little tester though it hilarious, that high pitched output is music to little ones' ears (not so much for the adults). A new recording is made by pressing down the button, which is not easily done by little hands. After the initial playback if the child continues to talk to it, Rascal will talk back (a clipped version of the child's babble), and this discourse goes on a couple of times, each time the racoon's sentence gets shorter. He usually then goes to sleep with a snore and a wheeze..The talky bit is good, but the shake to repeat function needs a rigorous shake, which out little tester couldn't do and she was also a little frustrated with the way the conversation happens. I expected the babble thing to be available for longer too. At the babbling age, there's not enough skill to use the toy, when it could be the most beneficial. I've not used this with talking toddlers, whom could use the button and shake function, but I imagine they'd get less developmental impact, but would enjoy it just as much.

Piles usés, ne fonctionne pas bien, on ne comprend rien de ce qui est répèté, ça crache...et les coutures lâchent déjà dès le jour de livraison....Trop déçue.....!

My son wanted one of these voice-repeating stuffed animal things. I was so happy to find that one of our favorite brands makes them! The racoon has a nice face and is a good size (not too big or too small). It takes a few tries to time the recordings right, but we got the hang of it pretty quickly and my son thinks it's hilarious. As a parent, I very much appreciate the fact that this thing isn't obnoxiously loud. 😁👍
