For $40 I didn’t expect a whole lot from this car toy grade car. I was wrong.
For $40 I didn’t expect a whole lot from this car toy grade car. I was wrong. Disclaimer: I’m 57 and have been involved in the R/C world since before NICAD batteries, let’s just start there. I’ve done every type of R/C car except drift (Road Race, Dirt/Paved Oval, Drag, Off Road, Monster Truck, Pulling, Crawling, Trailing and Bashing). These are my opinions and mine alone. First the important stuff. This is a Toy Grade Radio Control car. It is not easily fixable or upgradable. This is a 1/10 scale car. It is not small. It’s over a foot long so space to play is important. This car handles very differently on different surfaces (smooth polished concrete, rougher driveway, carpet, linoleum) so keep that in mind. Driving skill and aptitude will affect how much fun you can have with this car. It comes with everything you need right in the box to go and have fun. It even has one set of spare tires (and the tool to install them). Great build, sturdy, lots of metal parts where it counts, like axles, cups, knuckles and such. Built in USB charger. Nothing to lose. Open the hatch, plug it into any available USB port and start charging. Charging time depends on the amps of the charger you are using. I use a 2.0mah charger and it charges pretty quick and I get a good run time with it. The non-removable battery is a 900mah 9.6v battery so it must be using a step up to charge from a 5v USB. The Body is nice, and all details are painted from the inside. The only stick on decals are the tail lights. The unit is not waterproof, but it looks water resistant. I would expect that you could run it thru very shallow puddles on the parking lot. But I wouldn’t run it thru anything that would submerge it. Bad Stuff (but again, this is toy grade). It is NOT proportional. Steering is straight or full right/left. Throttle is F/R but only on/off with turbo in forward. Fun stuff. This thing is a blast. It took me a couple hours and a couple charges to finally get the hang of it but once I did, I was impressed. By using the Turbo On and Off you can make small adjustments while drifting. By the end of the weekend I was drifting and spinning this thing all over the garage with accuracy. This is a great starter car for someone who wants to know what R/C drifting is all about for under $50! Now I know that I want to go purchase a better, hobby grade, tunable/adjustable and upgradeable car. This one will stick around for fun though!

Cool Car
My 14 year old son loves this car and plays with it a lot. It goes pretty fast and drifts all over.

Great performance but short battery life
The car performs great & hasn’t given us any issues at all. We did however notice that the battery life isn’t great. You get about 10 minutes of playing time out of a full charge which takes about 30 minutes. It’s not bad, just a bit unexpected. It is also a bit loud but either than that, the car is great. Fast & fun. I recommend if battery life & noise aren’t too much of a big deal for you.

Semi good product.
This RC car is very good at drifting and even comes with spare tires. The Soft shell is very durable if you crash, and it can detach with clips if you want to wash the shell if it gets dirty. RC car can drive in the rain well, but can't drive on grass. Pretty long charge and pretty expensive.

The Best Toy I Bought this Christmas
This thing is much more fun than it has any business being given the $30 price tag. It is exceedingly powerful for a battery-powered car. Combine that with the slick plastic wheels and recreating drift moves is effortless. Hit the 'turbo' button and peg the steering to the right, and this thing will sit and do donuts until it runs out of power. The car came out of the box with batteries already installed in the controller, and enough juice stored in the car itself that my son was able to take it out of the box and immediately play with it for a solid 20 minutes. Charging is effortless with the included USB receptacle built right into the car. Just pull the cable out of the compartment on the bottom and plug it into any USB charger you have laying around. The battery lasted as long or longer than other RC cars we have had, and saves the frustration of unscrewing a compartment, removing a battery, finding the charging dock specific to that battery, and plugging it in. The body is made of a very thin, flexible plastic. I consider this a selling point, as the "drifting" feature means it will be crashed hard and frequently. It has much thicker plastic bumpers at the front and rear to prevent the thin plastic of the body from being crushed. My kids have had their share of very poor quality R/C toys over the years. What a fresh change of pace this car was. My only regret is that I didn't pick one up for both of my sons for Christmas.

Worth every penny. Would definitely buy again.
Fresh out the box this thing RIPS. Battery lasts long enough for you to actually have fun and it has the charger attached so you don't have to worry about losing it or buying/replacing batteries. It's easy to use. My 4 year old nephew learned how to drift it in less than 5 minutes. Would definitely recommend for men of all ages. You'll be entertained for hours.

Disappointed
It was a gift for my grandson. He was so happy until it would not work. We charge it over night and it still do not work. I can't return it because he tore up the box in excitement to use it.
