Corning Ware Spice of Life 1 Quart Casserole with Lid #A 1 B

I use this little casserole dish three or four times a week to heat things up in the microwave. It's the perfect size for one or two servings and the lid keeps the food moist. Food doesn't stick to the ceramic finish, so it's easy to clean. It's sturdy and will last for years.Corning doesn't make this size casserole isn't made anymore, but it was worth it to me to buy a good one from the Amazon Marketplace. Recommended.

This came in a timely fashion and was just as described--except it is just one casserole, not the two that were picture--which I assumed. You can't beat the old Corning Ware--the lids are solid, the casserole is solid. Quality stuff in comparison to the new products.

I broke my grandmother’s dish that she passed down to me, and was so happy to replace it. Perfect for microwaving vegetables or side dishes for two people, or one with leftovers. I also reheat food in the microwave in this dish. It keeps food from splattering or drying out in the microwave and is better than plastic for your health.

I was very unhappy when one of my corning ware 1 quart casseroles was broken after being dropped. It hit a hard object and that was its end. But, I found this one being sold at Amazon.com and HURRAH, I'm back in business! Nothing better for cooking hot dogs, vegetables, and a great size for cooking for just the two of us. keeps the heat in too, as well as being attractive, so it can be used right on the table for causal dining. Thanks for being able to supply a replacement for me.

My dish arrived in the same condition as described. It was packed very carefully and arrived on time.

I use this to boil my spaghetti noodles. Then pour in sauce and eat.

Unfortunately this has been discontinued by Corning. Have used this for over 30 years. Need to buy it from a used source. I only wanted a top which I broke but had to buy the set.
