I have 3 large horses, all over 16 hands and over 1200lbs. They are all pasture boarded and I love for them to have access to a high quality Himalayan salt lick. It helps them regulate their own mineral levels instead of me adding it to their feed.It is always very difficult to find a great vendor that supplies it for a reasonable price. I stocked up some time ago but was running out and here comes along this fantastic supplier. At this price this is probably one of the best prices I have seen for the amount of salt you are getting. Since I have 3 large horses I go through one of this blocks almost every month, so buying these in bulk is not a problem since I hate running out. I was actually out for about a week when I found this and when i brought them their salt lick I got some seriously happy faces. Two of them ignored me right off the get go to go and get some good licking in. They love this stuff and were really happy with it. I like this salt over the regular salt lick in that red-pink color most boarding places supply since it is just a better quality.So happy I found this, fantastic price and I will be stocking up again so I won't be running out any time soon!

I made this purchase for deer. I do see them utilizing it occasionally but I think they stick to the corn more. It was quite solid & hefty in weight upon arrival I certainly feel as though I received my money's worth with this product. I have only had the product for about a week or so....too soon to tell if all are enjoying it yet. Glad I ordered!

The deer were picking up apples off the ground and both deer eventually went and took several licks before something scared them away. I took it down to move to another tree away from the neighbors noise, but I have not hung it back up yet. I am sure they will love it. I actually will order more for the winter months.It is heavy!

This was smaller than I thought it would be and my horse ate it faster than I thought he would. As a rule I think these are overpriced across-the-board not just with this company

I no longer use the hard square salt blocks that are meant for cattle as I find my horses can't lick them enough to put a dent in them even after years of the blocks being in their living space. I switched to the Himalayan rock salt a few years ago and was shocked at how fast the horses go through them!

It lasts a long time and the deer love it. Other brands ‘on a rope’ that I have tried broke off the rope and fell to the ground long before they were finished. This brand is tied slightly differently and doesn’t melt away after a rain. Holds up nicely.

This is a pretty straightforward product. Rather than hang it by the rope, I just remove the rope and put the salt block in one of the stall buckets.

I hang this salt block in all 6 stalls and all of the horses use it as they wish. Much better then the metal hanger and rectangle salt block and lasts a lot longer.
