Leaves woolens clean, soft and smelling nice
Great product, cleaned my fine wool tee shirts perfectly, including the place where I got a food splotch on one. Smells nice, but not strong. Wool and cashmere items feel really soft and silky, no streching.

Fantastic product!!
Washed an old real sheepskin rug that I have used for years as a dog bed on our back porch. It looked and smelled really bad.Instructions said not to wash it, but the point was mute.Washed the rug in the bathtub, gave it a real good scrubbing.Could not be happier with the outcome.Clean, soft and even smells good now.And I didn’t use much of the shampoo at all.Highly recommend this product!

Easy to use, works great, sheep skin rugs look beautiful
2 sheep skin rugs gift from my mother, now 6 yrs never cleaned except shaking. Found this reas reviews followed directions excellent results. They look brand new. This stuff works with just two caps full per rug wash each rug separately, gentle agitation, short soak, rinse and short spin . Dry draped over something to provide ventilation. Excellent product

Great for those hard to clean wool items
I used this product to wash an expensive wool Pendleton blanket. That worked out so well I used it for a wool fleece saddle pad for my English saddle. Both was very successful! Worked great and will definitely use it again in the future!

I wish the instructions were clearer, here they are for you
I wasted half a bottle of this and I don't want that to happen to you!!Here's the end goal: clean fur, soft feel, relaxed skin correct? You can see in my pics that what this does. Pics are of a rug that's been on the floor as a dog mat, cat lounge, and on our couch now after washing. To do that here's what you need to do. For years I've used a different product and washed over 20 skins/times, large, small, rugs, throws, dog rugs, pieces, etc. but it's expensive and I thought I'd give a local brand a try; I'm from Idaho not Australia after all ;)Fill your washer with lukewarm water. Then put your sheepskin/s in. I put one rug, two singles, whatever, don't overstuff. Agitate the wash for a minute then just let it rest a few, repeat. What you are doing here is a PRE-rinse. Why the instructions NOWHERE say this is is important, I don't know. But if you want it clean you have got to do this step. I forgot, used the required soap, the skins were disgusting and I had to start over. Basically all that lanolin just locks in the dirt. So agitate, rest, agitate, rest, spin out all that disgusting water. Then I take the much cleaner sheepskins out, and refill the wash again with tepid water (you don't want to shock them with hot or cold because that causes all kinds of problems like fur loss shrinkage etc; if your washer is newer maybe you can set the temp better than my old one and may not have to remove them.Once the washer is full, NOW add your "soap", mix it in with your hand, then add your wet skins back in. agitate, rest, agitate for 30 seconds or so, rest, etc a couple times. Let that skin soak an hour or so. 15 min as the bottle states isn't enough! After it's soaked and rested in that yummy lanolin for an hour or two, give it another short agitation no more than a minute or so, then spin it out DO NOT RINSE. You did that in the pre-rinse remember? Hang those skins out to dry on a rack or layed fur down on towels shaking occasionally. I've not used a brush for years, and they come out fine. But using one before you wash and after they are dry gives your skins a nice fluffy look.Good luck. This product doesn't smell after they are dry and does a decent job cleaning.

I wish I knew the proper upkeep sooner! Amazing product!!
I was gifted two used sheepskin rugs by some friends of mine and have had them for YEARS. I was told them washed them and dried them so they always looked a little rough. They were mostly put away in storage for some time but I decided I’d like to try to revive them. After doing a little bit of research I dove in and got this!Washing methods: cold gentle wash in washing machine. I put one rug in at a time. I filled the machine half way with cold water, put about 1/3 cup of this washing solution, and a few tablespoons of baking soda as it had been years since they were washed. I let the rug sit in this solution for about 15 mins, then proceeded with the wash.Once done, I laid it out on my hang-drying clothes rack; the rugs smelled AMAZING, very gentle and light- clean scent. I brushed the hair with my hand only to get pieces to break up, took a minute or so. I let the rugs sit for several days to hang dry and put a fan on them during the day. You can see the after effect of washing on one rug vs not yet washed in the side by side pic :)THEN the part I was most excited about- after the rugs had air dried for several days, I purchased a wool rug brush ($7) and brushed for about a minute- and the last picture is the end result. I’m so thrilled and impressed!!!! EASY to do if you have a few days of patience for drying! Skins look 100x better and crazy soft, and smell amazing!!!! 5 stars from me!

Smells wonderful ❤️
I recently have became a merinoholic and felt the need to get some proper wool detergent and a drying rack of some sort to really get the most life out of my garments. After looking up the several recommended brands a few articles mentioned I didn't feel any attachment towards any of them until I got an Amazon recommendation for this product and I instantly fell in love.I hadn't even thought about including lanolin in a detergent like that's just genius to me and said all I needed to know about this brand, plus the great reviews helped assure me.I was eager to try it so I threw a few of my wool (and non-wool) garments into a laundry bag and into the washing machine it went, surprisingly the water looked more dirty than expected. Afterwards I laid everything out and I could tell right away the feel of the cleaned fabric felt sooo much softer and the tea tree oil smell was just subtle enough for me 👌10/10 will be buying again and I refuse to wash any of my loved garments without it!

Works beautifully on bamboo yarn
I recently knitted a baby afghan using bamboo yarn. I chose this product because I needed a baby safe wash. The afghan washed beautifully! I chose not to rinse it. The expectant parents were thrilled with the afghan.I was really tickled when the daddy-to-be kept smelling the afghan.Thank you for the perfect product!
