Is this is furniture or book?

I have previously bought 2 of Bill Cotton's books - The English Regional Chair and Manx Traditional furniture, but this third one is the best. Extremely well researched with a wealth of photographs, but what makes this one special is the historical write up of the connection of the furniture with the conditions the Scottish people lived in. There is also good historical content from contemporary photographs of interiors and the people. Wonderful - most recommended for anyone with an interest in furniture and Scottish history.

I got this book so I could see what the furniture in Scotland is like, and I love it. If only I could live there, and have some of it. Kathryn Punton

An incredible amount of research has gone into this book. Very well organised and illustrated. The large size of the book and paper quality help. The book is also a social history . I really like it .

A beautiful book to treasure.

The book arrived in plenty of time and in good condition, I have used the supplier before who give an excellent service. To book was all that I expected it to be and more a full history of scottish furniture - a great reference book and a great read will come in hand for when I get to the autions
