These gas struts are seriously impressive. I used them on a heavy RV bed platform, and they lift it smoothly with almost no effort. The strength is exactly as advertised, and the build quality feels premium with solid steel construction that looks like it will last for years. Installation was straightforward with the included brackets and clear instructions. I had everything set up in about 20 minutes using just a screwdriver. Once installed, the lift feels stable and controlled, with no wobble or noise. The one-finger operation is a nice touch and makes access so much easier. Overall, these struts are powerful, reliable, and worth every penny.

Fit perfectly on my 2025 East to West 3300RD as a replacement for the bed struts. Just used the original hardware and the work great holding up our new much heavier matress

These struts seem to be of good quality. Nothing wrong with them so I can't really give any more reviews. The ball joint and socket setup unfortunately are the permanent kind. There's no removable clips like with other sockets. The studs are M8 and the sockets are M6. The brackets are 1/8" thick and are pretty sturdy. What I don't like about most of these listings is the lack of cylinder diameter. These are 18mm in diameter.

These worked perfectly for my application which is holding up a 117 lb. cover to a generator housing. They were slightly frozen when first used but freed up easily with a little force on the cover. They have worked fine since. The mounting hardware worked well attached to framing lumber with 2" lag bolts.

I also received a pair of evidently over extended units. I too was hoping for a better lift assist in a motorhome under bed storage. My units appeared new and undamaged. I was unable to compress either unit but the instruction sheet said that could be true. Installed the 1 new unit and dropped the bed down. It shut down easily but broke the cheezy 'bego wood strip. Removed, reinstalled old worthless unit and tossed into my pile of worthless unreturnable amazon items. Bought in winter so the return window closed. Will try another unit from somewhere else! They looked nice. Would have used one and had the other for a spare!
