We bought this non-shock bark collar for our german shepherd. I was a bit skeptical since it only beeps and vibrates but it actually works really well. It still lets the dog bark (the first few just have a short beep) but as the dog continues to bark the beeps get longer and it starts to vibrate. I am very happy with this product because it makes me not have to worry so much about my dog barking and I also let the dog be outside more often now.It has been about a month, but I really don't expect this dog collar to last forever. I am guessing the dog is going to figure it out and just learn to ignore it. But, even if it only lasts a month or two, this product is for sure worth 5 stars because it gave me some peace for the last month.Basically, it looks like it makes the dog stop barking because it simply distracts the dog. He will bark a few times (at our neighbor behind the fence or something) and then it will start beeping. His focus goes to trying to find the source of the beep and it takes his focus off. It almost seems to annoy him as well.Recently the battery died(I cannot find the extra one it came with) and I have not been letting my dog play in the backyard as much. It has been a pain actually since the battery went out. I ordered some new batteries and am just waiting for them.The dog can still lightly bark (kind of a humble for our dog) without it beeping. These not-so-loud barks are fine for us. It’s just the loud vibrating barks that are a problem. I did not realize it but the german shepherd is the second loudest barking dog behind the golden retriever. When he barks in my direction, I can feel my body vibrate… I am sure that not so great for my hearing.The only drawback is it looks like every time we put it on or take it off it needs to be turned on or off. It would be nice we did not have to turn it on/off each time as it takes a moment.

This collar help us to train our rescue Pomeranian! He was barking all the time now he is only barking when people come to the house!

This has been a game changer for our 10 pound Yorkie for when we have to leave home. Our neighbors are so much more happy that the barking has stopped . He is still able to wine a little as he has figured out the collar will not go off when he does this. Overall I am so happy with the outcomes!

So far so good! Just put it on this afternoon and I noticed that she halts when she hears the beep. It has definitely reduced the barking. Time will tell. I am hoping to use it to train and then eventually she will learn not to consistently bark. She’s a little dog and the color is bulky for her.

I bought 2 of the same size, one for my 130# dog and the other for my 6# dog. I trimmed the one for my 6# dog, he mainly fits in cat clothing. My dogs are now silent unless someone is in their space, great success!
