It took me 2 months to truly find the best one that wouldn't break the bank because of how quickly kids grow. I do have smaller sized kids but my 7 yr old who is around 44lbs fit perfectly in this gi. The material is perfect. Our little guy is 4'2 and the Gi is a little big which is perfect bc he can use it for more than just a few months at the rate he's growing. I wasn't sure what size to get as he falls right on the border for both sizes.
