Great buy.. for kids 2-5..

The books themselves are fantastic and a treat for any vehicle lover. Kid already has 2 preloved books from this series and loves them.Tiny little damage to the box which is okay. My grouse is with the size of these books. I should have bought the paperback set. These hardcovers are so tiny compared to the paperbacks.The fire engine box that the bookset comes in, is quite thin and might not last long.Both the paperback and hardcover sets cost almost the same.

These books were my daughter's favourite during her growing years. The illustration and rhymes describing each automobile is wonderful. Delightful to read and will brighten the heart of any child who loves automobiles. Comes in a perfect box designed like a truck. The little ones may skip the books and just play with the cardboard truck. You will love reading it to your child/toddler as well.

Amazing books...images are very nice and written matter is so nice that the kids can immediately relate to it... I would highly recommend it specially for kids who love automobiles.

The content of the books is amazing. Every book has the right amount of information which a 3+ year would relate to and love. Would have preferred if the size of the books was slightly bigger.

Kid loves his coffee table books at. He s always ready to pull one out n read out.

My kid loves the whole set. It's a part of daily bedtime stories.

The fire engine design is very novel and easy to open to access the books.We had Terrific Trains already which my son loves so we decided to get the collection. However the versions in this collection are the US versions, so there are certain parts of the books changed to the American wordings. This is a real shame as to change one word to an Americanism the entire rhyme has to change, so the rhyms are completely different on some pages.Down rating this product as it's not promoting British English for my young one and is teaching them US English terms instead. In the United Kingdom we should be selling books written in our language. There are too many things on Amazon which are sold in the UK which are not British English.I would advise to avoid this product.

I was very disappointed to receive these to see that they were much smaller than the individual books, honestly I didn't pay much attention to the description, although I did check the dimensions and I assumed the length and width were for the books, not the whole box set itself, either way at £14.75, I'd expect them to be the full size books 😒

I bought this set for my 3 year old after we enjoyed reading `Amazing Aeroplanes'. All the books in this series are bright, fun and informative. As a set of mini-size hardback books they are also great - some books don't lend themselves well to reproduction in a smaller size - but here the bright but simple illustrations look good in a smaller format too. The truck case is sturdy.All the books are very informative in a fun, rhyming format. I bought `Amazing Aeroplanes' because we travel a lot by plane - this explains in simple terms the principle of lift, what happens at the airport and when you get on the plane (seatbelts on!). We have fun looking at the bags and deciding which one is my son's ... which one is Daddy's bag (the biggest one!).The Super Submarine book explains some things which are maybe a bit too advanced for a 3 year-old to understand - but all the other titles are pitched at the right level for younger bookworms. My 6 year old also enjoys the books.I like the fact that the train book describes all types of trains from old-fashioned steamies to super sleek modern trains. `Roaring Rockets' features the Apollo type of rocket (nothing about the Shuttle!) which has to land in the sea on return to earth but then this includes the trip to the moon .... Terrific Trucks includes all sorts of lorries including a cement lorry.On the final page of each book there are explanations of some of the equipment or parts of the plane/tractor/digger .... which is a good idea and a good talking point.Very appealing books for children who are mad about everything that moves!

Love this set. Bought several times for friends little ones. Brilliant. A must have set if books the little ones will love. Great rhyming stories

Great set of books my son loves them and my only criticism is that they are slightly smaller than I expected and makes it more difficult to be able to read them and show them to my son at the same time than larger books. However because of their size they are great for taking out with you as not too big to fit into a bag. The storage box they come in looks great and keeps them tidy!
