great buy if you know what you are getting.
the thing to remember with this item is its price. its under ten dollars, so dont go expecting miracles. you want a nice knife? an expensive showcase knife? then go buy a 100 dollar one and stop whining about this one.so, now that the haters are gone, lets talk about this knife. the first thing i did was pull it out of its sheath, and wow it felt great. they lined the inside of mine with what looks and feels like felt, so it makes a nice satisfying sound. putting it back in, it doesnt fit PERFECTLY... but come on, remember its a nine dollar knife. the blade does rattle a little bit, but its totally acceptable. the reason this is getting a four star review from me is the handle. its only long enough for three of my fingers, if it were longer or bigger this would be a five star for sure.the sheath is really nice on one side, on the other there are bullet holes, aka screw points... i can see five. this means that there is a top and bottom seam in the sheath where the two halves meet. not really much to get around that, as these things are probably die cut on a machine and pressed out one after the other. that doesnt bother me bc i knew what i was getting, a nine dollar knife.lets talk about the blue color on the sheath. it looks amazing from a distance but if you look closely you can see it is not a gem like the knife wants you to believe, but some kind of sparkly paper. it looks great from a distance, but close up you can see some bubbles where it didnt get put on flat, but from a casual arms length inspection, it looks like there is a huge gem in there, which is great.okay, now the blade. its secure. it doesnt move when pulled on by hand. im not a knife expert but my guess is its being held in place bc of the hole they punched out of the blade. that hole is a little bit rough around the edges, but nothing an exacto knife couldnt fix if it really bothers you. the bevel that is already ground in is about 4.5 inches long, and the blade is not sharp, but thats fine. its a bit dirty, but honestly that was probably from me handling it with my greasy hands. cant tell if the blade is full tang or not, but my guess is its somewhere in between.lets talk about the handle. more of what was on the sheath, aka bullet holes and screws, i count four. the seam line is A LOT less noticeable and i had to look closely to see it. the designs look amazing on the whole thing, lots of detail and texture, its fun to just feel how many different textures there are. however, there is one spot where this is overlooked, and that is the front feet of the blade dragon. on the inside of the legs it is hollowed out and there is no detail. not a big deal bc most people will be blown away by all the other stuff to notice, and if they do, i think they will forgive it bc after all, its a nine dollar knife.anyway, final thoughts... its a nice little knife. it looks great from a distance, but some flaws will show themselves if inspected closely, but honestly i didnt buy this for actual use, but as a cool looking object. YOU be the judge if this knife is right for you.

Good prop
This prop provides a good visual effect if you are trying to outfit yourself with a dragon motif. It is a "combat ready blade" and not an actual knife, it is dulled. The handle is fit for someone with very small or child sized hands and for those with average or larger hands, you will only be able to fit three fingers on the grip at most. There is fabric on the inside of the sheath, giving it a snug fit and avoiding rattling noises. It does not have a belt loop on the sheath, but the crosspiece is designed in such a way that you could easily hook it on a belt for that effect. (just don't expect to easily re-sheath it that way. If you are looking for a functional dagger or a sword this is not the piece for you. If you are looking for a tasteful costume piece or roleplaying accent, this is exactly what you're looking for.

Terrible quality.
This product is very messy in terms of the body opened at the seams, the screws on the back are very annoying and take away from the look of the knife. The knife itself was dirty and scuffed up. Also there was still a bit of left over casting from the mold. The blue color was chipping and pealing off as well. Very poor quality and not something I'd give as a gift.
