Sweatsaver Liner Skateboarding Helmet

I love how it keeps sweat out of my eyes while playing roller derby. It’s comfortable and very sturdy.

I purchased this style helmet to replace the traditional bicycle helmet style because(1) I think they are a pain to fit and stay on a 3 year old(2) My 3 year old daughter typically does not like anything on her head (so I was hoping this helmet would be a winner)I like this helmet a lot because it has a soft inner cushion and even though the size I purchased was slightly larger than my daughters head, it still fits nicely. Most importantly, she will wear it and likes it. Just take a tape measure and run it around your kids head and find the right size based on the chart. I went with plain black so that she could paint it or sticker it up if she wants. She is mainly riding a scooter and practicing on a balance bike, however due to the shape and design of this helmet, I will continue to buy her a new size as needed for years to come. If this makes sense - when she wears the helmet, it just looks right. I kick myself for not getting this earlier. My perception, whether right or wrong is that this is a superior helmet and would protect her from any fall. If she starts getting into some extreme kid biking, maybe I'll look for something else. Note this helmet is rigid, it's not a rubbery bendable helmet. By the way - a huge plus is that if your kid drops it, it won't break (like the Styrofoam on 3 prior "bicycle" helmets did).

I purchased this helmet a little bit too late in life. After suffering a few concussions from riding BMX while riding without one, I decided enough is enough. The helmet is lightweight, comfortable, and looks pretty nice too. It is not over the top at all in terms of design, which I like. The few times I have hit the ground with it haven't been hard falls so far, but it has absorbed the impact well and the finish on the exterior has not gotten scratched, cracked, or dented. The interior appears to be a sweat absorbing feature which is nice. Instead of the sweat rolling into my eyes, much of it appears to be absorbed by the pads inside.Overall I am very happy with it and it has made my riding a lot better because I am not as scared to fall.

Sizing is accurate. Bought this for getting back into skating and blading after a long time! Note that this is not the "certified" version so it is literally a plastic shell with the sweat saver pads. No extra hard foam layer in between.

This is a solid helmet that may cost a bit more than some of the others I've seen on Amazon, but it's well made, sturdy, and fits incredibly well. The straps are easy to adjust and the plush pads inside the helmet are comfortable (not itchy!) which help ensure a good fit and keep the helmet from sliding around. These inner pads are easy to take out and wash, which is definitely a plus for kids who work up a good sweat (as mine does). As a bonus, it's a cool looking helmet with a simple logo. All of these factors mean make my "you have to wear a helmet at all times" rule easy to follow.

I gave this to a14-year old nephew who needed a new bike helmet and coveted this brand. Pricey if ordering directly from Triple 8 but there are other sites with availability for less. The sizing guidance isn't consistent, but all recommend going up a size if in doubt. Note that not all styles come in all sizes. This kid does not have a particularly large head (i think the circumference was 24" or 25") but but has a full (and gorgeous) head of hair, so got the XL, which he found comfortable. White doesn't seem like the coolest color buthe rides on city streets as well as on park roads and suburban areas and wanted the reflective feature for dusk or night time riding.

Good fitting helmet that stays in place. The sweat saver band helps to absorb sweat and can be removed for washing and drying for hygiene purposes. Recommended!

My kid like it. It’s comfortable. However do note there’s no room for adjustment for head circumference.
