NaturalAreaRugs Half Panama Seagrass Runner, 100 Percent Natural Fiber, 2' 6" x 8', Black Border

My Review is currently based on the original Arrival of the runner.First off, it's far from Beige like in the picture, it arrived practically Green and smells strongly of a smell that is very close to that of fresh-cut Hay.I'll post some pictures for reference.I have reached out to NaturalHomeRugs to find out if this is normal or if, much like Hay, will fade to Beige when left out to air dry.From there I will adjust my rating because if it doesn't because its Panama Seagrass I'm going to be very annoyed because I don't want a Green Hay rug.The Weaving however for reference is very heavy duty so I don't see it ripping apart from use of my dogs running over it which you can tell from the Photos. There were a few longer protruding grass "hairs" that needed to be clipped before placing but overall pretty typical for this type of rug.The sewn border looks to be of decent quality and firm stitching. No lose threads or border pieces to note upon initially receiving.The Non-slick bottom is debatable. It's a very light coat and with very little effort I was able to move it by intentionally attempting to slide it with my feed, so a non-stick padding is still very much recommended though for $75 for a runner rug you'd expect it to be a bit more steady.Did I mention how much it smells like Hay?I'm sure the smell will also fade, just really weird. I was raised around the stuff so it was quite nostalgic lol.

I love this runner! It's very good quality, vacuums easily, and looks great in my foyer. It is a little rough on bare feet, but other than that I'm very happy with it! I thought I would need a gripper underneath of it so it stays in place, but I have it on my wood floor and it stays perfectly in place without a gripper underneath. Definitely recommend!
