Wilton Red Candy Melts Candy, 12 oz, Pack of 6

This is my usual brand of candy melts because the quality and flavor is consistent. Red is essential for accents and also as the focus for many holidays like Valentine’s Day, the 4th of July, Christmas, Flag Day, etc. Whether coating pretzels, filling candy molds or dipping cookies, strawberries or dried fruit they perform well.One caution, these arrived in mid-summer and during the journey the discs in each bag melted reforming into a hard to manage block. While they are still useable it is a chore and somewhat imprecise to break-off a portion. Order in cooler or cold months.

These 6 bags of Wilton Candy Melts arrived intact with no evidence of melting. My process for using these red chocolate candies is to put the amount I want into a microwave safe bowl and melt them in 30-second intervals, stirring often. I have also used a small crockpot on low in the past. The chocolate adheres well on whatever you’re coating. Wilton is a great brand and didn’t disappoint.

These are awesome, if you need to use candy melts, I highly recommend these. They come in great vibrant colors and they work great for any project you are making. We make a lot of truffles in my house and these work great for them. Great taste and just the right colors. don't try to dye white candy melts the color you want, when you can get the colors you want from wilton. Wilton is a great brand name and the quality is great.

I bought this because of the value per pack. Still way more than the store charges but hard to find in store however for 6 packs I felt it was worth it and would last awhile however the chocolate is near its expiration date in only 2 months. Chocolate has a very long expiration date and who knows the conditions it’s been in and for how long. I def noticed a difference in flavor and melting . It was difficult and I use this on a regular basis.

I bought these candy melts for my valentines sale thinking i would use them on my chocolates, strawberries, etc.. They dont melt as good as some other chocolate melts ive used but if you add some coconut oil it improves the consistency. The taste however was not good. I couldn't use these for my strawberries or chocolates but they worked great for my breakable hearts because the flavor didn't matter as much.

Wilton makes a great product. Smooth melting, even and consistent color, mild and pleasant vanilla flavor. Easy to pour out just what you need and avoid any waste. Great value in this multipack. Easy to store too. All around great melting "chocolate" for dipping or decorating. Molds perfectly too.

Great candy melts! The vanilla flavor is on point and they're very easy to melt without burning.

This product is absolutely awful, I should’ve listened to the reviews. I thought it would be so convenient to have this delivered one day and I have to deal with going to Michael’s, but I wish I just went to the store because this item would not melt properly and was like concrete. I’m not sure if it has been stored improperly or if the items are expired, but they are not the normal Wilton quality candy melts. Don’t waste your money!
