These earphones are nice and the sound is good. The translation app is so/so.The earphones come in a very nice storage case. The box also contains a USB charging cord, a lanyard that can go on the case, and instructions.The earphones themselves are fairly good quality. The sound is reasonable in both bass and treble tones. Music sounds pretty good. They're not Bose or Apple quality, but they're not priced that way either. They pair very easily.The language function must be accessed through the app loaded on your phone. The translation function must be used in conjunction with the app when it is open on your phone. Google translate is about as useful for most of the same functions. If you want true real time translation, you'll have to buy a subscription. I didn't do that so I can't evaluate it.The app does indeed work in all three functions. The most useful for us was to have the translation show in words on the phone. This was also the quickest and closest to real time. Our initial test was switching a movie to French but with English subtitles. We then watched the phone and compared the translation with the subtitles. It was the same probably over 90% of the time. Even with the variation, the translation was basically the same in meaning and substance. There was a bit of a lag.I'd like to have a free trial of the subscription service to see if it would be worth the cost, but that is not offered.The earphones are of reasonable quality for the price, and the translation function is OK but not spectacular. A bit better than Google Translate.

The first thing I should mention, is the more desirable translation options are a premium feature and require an additional purchase to use them.With the free package on the included app, you do get options to translate with the push of a button, I seem to have the best method of having the translated speaker to speak into my phone and let the ear buds speak the translation into my ear. They definetly aren't performing magic miracles like they seem they would, it takes some adjustment to know when to start the translation process. The case is rather nice, but larger than usual ear buds, you get a good battery life out of them as well.The design isn't my favorite, the looping on the ear feels a bit loose, and I feel like I don't get the greatest sound clarity with this spacing on my ears.Otherwise, they also work as good headphones to use as standard on your phoneWish the better features were included without a subscription but I get it.For the price they may be worth it, but the translation feature is a bit finicky and takes some learning, may take a couple tries with who you're speaking with as well.
