No proper battery backup very poor quality

This is a good product. I bought it for my 7 yr old son. But it was difficult for him to assemble. Later I did the assembly. It took more than 3 hrs for me to complete as there are many small components and the instructions are not that detailed. Once it is assembled and kept under sunlight - "wow" it started moving. My son liked it very much. Even I got satisfaction as I assembled and it worked. We are yet to try other combinations. I hope it will be easier as the central rotation assembly (which was the most difficult part) is already done.The drawback of this product is that it will not work inside house as it need direct sunlight. However, we can use a 100W bulb to make it work inside the house but the bulb need to be very close to solar panel (so not that useful).I recommend it for older kids or kids who are very much interested in making such assembly. This is a value for money product when we consider the experimental value.

I have many doubts while ordering this kit like how would be the product, does it really work etc... . This kit is really awesome. I loved it. The manual was very helpful. I recommend this to every one doesn't matter which age group u belong to. U will feel happy when the final assembled kit starts running when placed in sunlight. Have some small drawbacks. The wheels are not so tight, they are coming out after a few minutes of usage. The solar panel provided with the kit is an instant power generator. It won't store any energy when exposed to sun. Must have provided a slot for secondary power supply like a battery. The kit runs fine even with a battery connected. At this price the kit is worthy enough. Want to thank the manufacturer for such a simple and good product and finally Amazon for its delivery.

If it is meant for kids, and it is meant for kids, it is not very intuitive. The screw like pieces break easily and the pieces aren't perfect, i.e some pieces too tight and some too loose.My nephew is 12 years old and can't do anything much with it. I had to make the bot for him

Good one if you have a good free time to play with this. I only tried this one time and never had that much time to create different toys. The one I created worked well.Warning: if you don’t have free time don’t buy this.

The delivery was fast. Product was good, atleast my kid liked it, he made one bot as well.However, the motor is not very powerfull. Cutting of parts is very important any excess plastic will hamper the movement. Infact its risky as i was pushing one piece and excess plastic pierced my finger.Overall informative and engaging product.

14 in 1 was a wrong choice ! First, no proper instructions that kids can understand. 2nd too many tiny pieces that kids looses interest after few attempts to make a robot. my kids did around 3 experiments at the initial interest and gave up after that ! this may be the best for the money we give but i feel, it is useless. I would rather spend more money and get something that excites the children. This product failed to attract my kids.
