The truth minus hype
What you come back with after reading this book by Fr. Amorth is that humbleness and humility are the most powerful weapons against the supernatural forces. Fr. Amorth is not afraid to tread over the path of truth which clearly declares that not all exorcisms can be 100% successful and there are 9 failures for every 10 exorcisms attended to and this is mainly due to the faith of the exorcist. As the lord had once said, that only real Faith can move mountains and one must remember that the crucifix of St. Benedict used mainly for exorcisms venerates the saint who was not an ordained priest, but an ordinary monk.

Outstanding.
I have read most of Fr. Gabriele Amorth's books and am an avid reader of deliverance and exorcism books after some supernatural events happened with me many years ago and since childhood. His knowledge level is astounding as well as his humility. For those who don't know Father Amorth died around 2016. A documentary movie by William Friedkin, director of The Exorcist was released after that event last year or so. He has a following of thousands in Rome and a devout readership around the world. I thank Father Amorth for his wisdom and lifelong knowledge that he has worked so hard to attain.

Enlightenment
A very enlightening book. It's full of knowledge and insights as Fr Gabriele educated the reader about exorcism, demons, and encountering satan himself. Easy reading and mind-expanding. Well worth a read.

The best book I've ever read.
It is the most wonderful book I've ever read. Every single line you read gives you overwhelming knowledge. Read it slowly in order to get all the information. It is a very serious topic, not for everyone.

"The Last Judgement: It Will Be Love That Will Judge Us" -Father Gabriele Amorth
A well written and informed book by the 'world's greatest Exorcist', reads in a manner that lay people can understand.Father Gabriele Amorth, provides a clear understanding of the life of an exorcist. He encourages all Dioceses have an exorcist as it is still a required position and he wants the education classes for vocational school to bring back the classes on Exorcism. There is currently a shortage of trained exorcists, not something we hear about in the media. In main stream culture, and even in my conversion process to Catholicism there was little mention of hell, let alone exorcisms. I found the saints that he calls on to help him during exorcisms to be particularly interesting and would like to read more about them. As a convert, rather than a cradle Catholic I found this book to be helpful to explain the background of exorcisms and how they are still required in modern life.I found the part about making sure the person is truly possessed by a demon (i.e. referral to a psychiatrist) to rule out mental health conditions prior to examining the demonic to be particularly interesting. Because some of the symptoms overlap between possession and mental illness, He emphasizes the differences between the two. Interestingly, those possessed by demons often seek the help from exorcists. There are quite a few examples and details in the short, 143 page book. Covering the topics:1. Victory of Christ in Sin an Death2. Satan and the Fallen Angels3. The Cult of Satan and It's Manifestations4. The Extraordinary Action of Satan: Possession, Vexation, Obsession, and Ubfestation5. Body to Body with Satan: The Exorcism6. Other means of struggling with the Devil7. The Principles of Christian EschatologyFather Gabriele Amorth explains why he seek assistance from Mary in exorcisms, as the Evil One is repelled by Hail Mary Prayers. The ways in dark magic, white magic, occult, new age and wizards ect. have become mainstream norms of culture also caused me to question some of my own consumption habits of media and literature. Overall, a quick and interesting read that I will likely refer back to as I learn more about the Catholic Faith.

devil as a real personal being
Read this but also have some distance to the material because it is so hard to believe that depicted cases have existed. Some are really fearful and not less terrible than scenes from movie Exorcist. Poor people besieged by demons and Satan himself. Hard to believe stuff. But if you believe in God very plausable. The most dreadful stuff that I encountered in my reading path till now where some chapters from a books about Ruanda genocide and impossible to imagine without intervention from Satan himself. This book will reinforce your faith in God.
